Anyone know how far along they are in the interview process? Been waiting for a while.

[biochica7]

Just got the call for PRIME-LC!!!! WOWIEEEEE
Interviewed 10/19 and got the A 11/19!

Congrats! I interviewed on 12/8 and haven't heard back. Did you send a letter of interest by chance?

[biochica7]

Same here!!! Interviewed 10/19! Congratulations to everyone!!! ❤️

Congratulations! I interviewed on 12/8 and haven't heard back yet. Did you by chance send a letter of interest? This is my top choice and would love to do anything I can!

Has anyone sent an update longer than 500 characters?

[ducks_are _the best]

Rescinded my interview offer for PRIME! Good luck to future students! You will be amazing doctors!

[bravemonwooper]

Did anyone get a notice to create a UCInetID in the "status" tab of the portal but no communications within the portal or via email after completing the secondary? I was able to literally create a UCI email but definitely no interview invite...

i've been complete since august, i have a UCInetID thing too but also no interview

Has anyone sent an update longer than 500 characters?

I emailed them about this a few weeks ago because I had a few updates and they said to follow the 500 character limit but send multiple if needed since there's no limit on # of updates

I guess they are done giving out II's this year 😢

I guess they are done giving out II's this year 😢

What makes you say that?

[Kobe24forever]

I am just speculating. Because 3 months have gone by and they have been extremely quiet. Maybe they filled up their class already!

I don't think we should give up hope just yet! They interviewed through early April last year. With all the craziness this year and because they sent secondaries out a little later than most places, I bet they still have more IIs to give

[Kobe24forever]

I sure hope so!

Does anyone know how far out they’ve scheduled up to by now

[ohshizmyquad]

Did anyone interview in late Dec or Jan?

They've already given out pre-II Rs too, so I doubt they'd keep us in the dark. I'm hoping that they're delayed and more interviews are to come.

I interviewed in dec!

Wondering the same!

[drsmurfmd]

Do they send out pre-II rejections before march?

I've definitely seen some pre-II Rs on this thread although they might have been to yield protect

I interviewed December 8 and have not heard back. Also because of holidays I'm sure they're behind and still are giving out more interviews

You've gotta be some kind of good to get 'yield-protected' from UCI lmao

Random but does anyone know if incoming students receive iPads? Trying to see if I should get one

In the interview they said that they give you the money to buy an iPad. They don't give you one though- they recommend it though because you need it for exams. If you don't get one with the money they give you, you can also get a laptop etc. And they have extra ipads during exams just in case u don't get one. I'd recommend one. I used one my last year of undergrad and it was a game changer for sure.

Has anyone else been given a UCInet ID without an II?

[AnonymousAnteater]

Has anyone else been given a UCInet ID without an II?

Happens to everyone, no need to worry about it unless accepted

[Thunderduck44]

Not at all. My secondary was complete late August. There is still hope for those that haven't gotten an interview yet!

[LeezyM]

Last year IIs sent out around this time were scheduling into late March. Current dates are still in February so clearly they are delayed, and there are more IIs to send.

[LeezyM]

Is it true that UCI is one of those schools with high post-II acceptance rate, especially for IS?

[gbmedschool]

Has anyone else been given a UCInet ID without an II?

Me. I tried to sign up for a UCInetID back in September. But it didn't fill in until sometime last week. No interview yet

Same exact thing happened to me

I haven't submitted an update to a program yet, but as a CA resident, this seems like my last hope for a possible II.... going to send an update today! Trying to manifest an II. Good luck to you guys as well!! 🙂
