So...with Oct 15 coming up, is UTSW basically going to drop all the prematch offers on that day (for people who have interviewed so far), or have previous years shown they kinda roll the acceptances?

I checked the past threads and it seems like they drop their October 15th prematch offers at 12am. This is a dumb question, but does that mean the first round of acceptances come from this school tonight?

Yes, UTSW has joined in the excitement of the moment in the past, by releasing their first offers of admission just after midnight on the 14th >>15th.
Since October 15th is the first day TMDSAS schools are allowed to make offers of admission, these will be the first offers. OOS applicants who have interviewed already are also eligible to hear something.

After the first day, there tend to be small batches of offers regularly, once or twice a month, after admissions committee meetings. No I don't know what days the committee meets 🙂

This is some great info, thanks! Is this similar to the way UTMB and other TMDSAS schools do things?

UTMB is the only other one that sends out emails at midnight or 1am. If you haven't interviewed at either one of these so far, you can wait until daylight to see your emails 🙂

Right? The chances are small but the idea that we could lock down an acceptance by tomorrow is fantastic. I'll be at work when the emails go out so this is going to add a little excitement to the shift
 
Anyone know if it for sure mean anything if you see a tab on TMDSAS called Pre-Match "Offer Withdrawal"? I remember looking at TMDSAS sometime last week and not seeing it before. I thought I saw somewhere that it might be predictive but I'm not sure exactly and I can't find that post anymore.

I don't think it is.. I think everyone has it if/when they get an offer but I could be wrong

I don't see that tab on my TMDSAS, but then I am OOS.

I’ve had that tab since I was able to rank schools after interviewing. I’m not sure if that helps one way or another, but I’ve always seen it.
 
Same here, popped up at the same time as the interview rankings tab. I'm sure it does not predict anything
 
man, i really want a utsw invite. Do we still think they're in group 1 auto-invite? Or, now moving to group 2 holistic invite?
I'm ORM, 515, 3.8. It's looking like I didn't make the group 1 invite but I'm so so so so hoping to hear something soon.

They’re definitely working their way through Group 2. I was complete 7/16 and got an II for UTSW 2-3 weeks ago and had the actual interview this past Saturday.

I actually didn’t ask and I didn’t see anyone else ask. My personal guess is that it would be too quick of a turnaround, but what do I know haha.

One of my interviewers told me that their evaluation was due on Tuesday after the interview and that the committee would convene to discuss that Thursday. I suppose this is typical for all interview dates.

Last cycle they were announcing admissions every week or two once this date passed and I remember about a 2 week turnaround.

Y'all should not be up still checking emails lol. Last year everything went out at midnight on the dot, if you didn't get anything at 12am you should be asleep

On their website they said that offers of admission will begin on Oct. 15. Hopefully we see some movement in the next few hours. Fingers crossed!
