I am not seeing any dates on the calendar either. Ugh I just want to schedule it and get it on the calendar to make sure its real and they won't take it away 🙂

FR right. I bet their toaster servers are probably stressed if they sent out alot of IIs today, but then again its gotta be a real toaster if 40 people can screw it up so bad.

For those with interviews, aren't the dates available very close? Like next week... argh my nerves

Yah I see nothing and I looked all the way thru January :/

This is exactly how I feel haha

WashU is a bit behind on everything this year. Since we started 2 months late, admissions had to be worrying about the incoming class 2 months longer than normal, so things are going slowly. We haven't even selected the M1 admissions liaisons yet. So don't be surprised if scheduling and such takes a long time!

Anyone know if there is a dress code for the virtual campus tour?

For the Standardized Video Interview on kira talent, are the video questions still 30 seconds to prep and 45 seconds to answer like in the practice? Also, is the writing question on the real thing also still 10 minutes?

It says it will take 21 minutes to complete, so the math is not adding up for me if it takes only a maximum of 1.25 minutes per 3 video interview questions and a 10 minute writing question.

Hey! Is anyone else scheduled for an interview tomorrow? I haven't received my interview times yet, but I know they're generally sent about 2 days in advance - so just wanted to check if someone else was in the same boat

Yes! I'm interviewing tomorrow too and haven't received a time. Do you have the tab on your portal interview page where you're supposed to be able to start the interviews? I don't have that page either. I was planning on waking up super early (I'm pst time) and calling the admissions office to see whats up??

I also don’t have that page yet! after I posted, I found on the FAQ page that they would post the times also on interview day at 8:30 am CT - so that was a little reassuring, but will keep you updated if anything else changes!

The times that are posted on the portal interview page are CST, right?

Do you mind providing a little insight into how they let you know about timing? I have an interview coming up this week and am trying to figure out what my day will look like. Thanks so much!

Oh yeah for sure - if you log in on the morning of the interview, they have the timings & join links for the interviews up within a new subcategory under the Interview tab in the portal. I think they said it would for sure be up by 8:30 AM CST, but mine were up a little earlier. Good luck, you got this!

I'm assuming that it's casual. On the FAQ page, the only dress code they have is for the interview.
Update: Don't be like me (only one NOT wearing a suit, lmaoo). I don't think it really matters, but everyone in my sessions were business professional.

During my campus tour I was also the only one not wearing a suit. The student was super chill and said they had no voice whatsoever on admissions, so I am not worried. Regardless, seems like people are dressing up even for student led tours and more relaxed sessions.

Thanks so much! Best of luck to you as well!

that was the MOST STRESSFUL interview I've had. And I've done 12 so I'm really good. Really bummed out now. did anyone else have this experience?

EDIT: if it makes a difference, i meant 6 interviews (2 at each school)... i should've said 6!! lol definitely did not mean to put anyone down! you'll all do amazing 🙂

Anyone get any info on those why washu wednesdays they hyped? I'm not really finding much on their website.

Stressful in what sense?? Interviewing Friday and now I'm worried lol

I interviewed a few days ago and my experience was definitely NOT stressful (actually, the least stressful of all the interviews I've done so far!). My interviewers were so warm and friendly, and really let me talk about my passions and it felt more like a genuine conversation than an interview.

what is wash u Wednesdays if you don't mind me asking
Probably something similar to Michigan Mondays. I guess schools like rhymes lol

Edit: WashU wednesdays are weekly Zoom meetings to help students learn more about WashU (med student panels, etc).

II 30 minutes ago! OOS, Submitted 7/18. Is anyone else not seeing any dates on the interview scheduler?

I also experienced this issue, so I called the admissions office and scheduled an interview for this month

How long after you called them did you get a confirmed interview date? I called them and they asked me to provide three dates that worked for me. They said they'd send me a confirmation email or call me back.

I called them, and they scheduled me. Received the confirmation e-mail with instructions on other elements of the interview process some five minutes later. 🙂

I called around 4:30 CT and they still haven't sent me a confirmation email. Assuming they'll get to it tomorrow?

FYI I had trouble earlier but just now was able to use the portal. Would advise y'all to give it one more try if you haven't scheduled yet.
