Interview invites went up by 191 since November 30th...

Do you guys really think that many interview invites have gone out in the last two weeks?**

Call and ask if it went through, that’s what I did and they happily were able to confirm it

+1 WL, interviewed about 2 weeks ago. The dean asked me where else I’ve interviewed and when I mentioned some higher tiered schools I had to explain why I’d go to Wayne instead. Don’t be like me (maybe just say regions), this school really wants to know they’re your #1!!

I asked both of my interviewers for their emails, and I sent my notes directly to them. I also sent a thank you note to the admissions email, thanking the MMI interviewers.

I had to repeat multiple times that they were my top choice, too, since they asked me as well. but, the Dean interviewed you? that is impressive

I had the dean too... basically told me he really wanted me to go there and said he would try to get me in and I got WL

I think they’re WL-ing more applicants this cycle bc of covid so there’s more people who actually attend their interviews. But I went to the MD chats and they said they’re gonna accept 600-650 and accept half of that in April and beyond.

They will accept that many, but not every one of them will matriculate, meaning they’ll turn down Wayne for somewhere else

Its likely not that they will have 650 Matriculants. More like they will be sending out a total of 650 offers to fill the class. Considering that 100+ students defer their offer in favour of another school every cycle, they have to send more offers out to fill the class.

No worries! I meant that half the 650 As will be released around April onwards according to the Admissions advisor (so WL). And yeah many people end up going elsewhere which is why they need a large WL!
