Did anyone who was accepted not receive anything about canelink?

maybe you should try logging in and seeing whether they have offered you admission (i would also check application portal) i personally never received an email or call for the A but I did get a later in the mail
 
has anyone received any emails or portal status updates? was supposed to hear back yesterday but it's been silent

If you dont get a call on your first decision day, and an acceptance email doesn’t come the next morning (a number of people have been accepted the day after without a call), most likely a WL email is coming within the next few days
 
I interviewed on Nov 1st and never heard anything after. No alt list, acceptance, or rejection. Whenever I call them I get voicemail. Any suggestions?
 
So do they accept updates and if so is it just through email or an update letter you attach to an email or how does that work?
 
Still haven’t been reviewed despite being complete like half a year ago at this point. Why even send people a secondary if you’re not going to review it? Oh yeah, $econdarie$ are nece$$ary $o that I can literally regurgitate the $ame exact info a$ in my primary. I want my money back 🙁

This is a misconception. You have been reviewed. You just haven't been scored.

A form of this happens just about everywhere. Miami just so happens to be obnoxious enough to put it on the portal for us to see. Our money goes to support the office, and to subsidize those receiving fee waivers.

It does not pay for a certain level of review, which is extensive for those receiving IIs, and non-existent for those being auto-screened out at the outset. It's a fee to be considered, and we are all considered, even if we have no business applying and are immediately screened out after "consideration." Buyer beware at schools that send secondaries to everyone, which is almost all schools nowadays.

Same thing as the day I submitted. Something about being “currently under review” which according to previous posts here means my app hasn’t really even been looked at or something? If the message turns green, then my app was opened I think.
 
Could anyone sum up their interview day experience with this school? I have mine in a few days and it'd be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know how long we have to decide between MD and MD-MPH? I got the email asking for a decision but it does not have a deadline.

Mine says "Your application is currently being reviewed by the Admissions Committee." in green. Are there some people who have this same message in black or something?
 
Just got an II today!!! OOS. So, I have a question, in the email it says its a virtual interview, but in the portal it says it will be in Miami. Which is it? Also I applied for the MD and MD-MPH programs and they said I am being interviewed for both but there is only one scroll down bar for dates under the MD-MPH one, does that mean its one interview for both programs?

Interviews are all virtual. I applied MD only so I can’t speak to the dual degree question.

Does anyone know if UM does in-person visits? I interviewed awhile back and will be in Miami and would love to visit and express interest if allowed.
