2021-2022 NYU, Long Island

I do not have this letter either.. Also didn't receive any of those financial aid emails

Furthermore, the signed hard copy letter that you will receive by mail is the only official notification of an offer of admission. This electronic letter is not an official offer of acceptance **

Yeah, that's why I have a feeling this is all one big mistake. Maybe it correlates to who gets a call later, but either way. Heart is sinking
 
Part of me wants to believe it is legit since they likely already decided on acceptances and were going to release them next week anyway, but the other half of me is saying no way LOL

Given how many have reported letters in this thread so far, I would find it hard to believe these are (all) legit. On that note, I'm keeping my expectations in check bc this is 100% abnormal. But who knows!
 
Honestly I had already resigned myself to a rejection from the day I scheduled my interview because of the odds but somehow the anticipation of a likely fake letter of acceptance has made me care more than I did for all my other schools combined
 
wait what's the running tally on schools with admissions screwups this year? NYU-LISOM, Cincinnati - anyone else?
 
I did notice that under terms and conditions I am able to put my name and accept the conditions of acceptance.

IIRC they do acceptances via a phone call from medical students and they accidentally called 7-10 people with an acceptance but it turns out those people had been rejected

Huh I wonder if I sign my name under terms and conditions, would the accept offer button pop up afterwards?

100% we just got our hopes up to be destroyed next week 🙁
Also have letter at the portal

P.S. NVM, if you click on admission decision it gives you a different letter with 2025, but if you click on offer letter it says 2023

Sorry for the lack of an explanation. That is what I see as well. Just a few minutes prior though, when I clicked on admission decision it was BLANK. Now it says Class of 2025, so I'm assuming they JUST updated that page.
