The 15th is the date applicants holding multiple acceptances are expected to narrow their options down to 3. It’s a strong suggestion from the AAMC to remain professional and courteous to other applicants; however, some schools have their own policies that require you do so, not just strongly suggest.

Waitlist movement won’t really happen until May. April 30th is decision day and will give the admissions team a better gauge on bow many they can pull from waitlist. They’re not really going to do anything until then, since they run the risk of offering too many spots for limited seats. That’s just when movement will start; it continues through July for many schools. We’re nearing the end… stay patient and good luck!!!
Yes, but only because I requested it so that I could drop my A’s before the 15th and be respectful to other applicants. I think they’ll get a lot of them out this week
