I just withdrew myself from the waitlist. While Wayne was one of my top choices and I would have loved to be back in Michigan where I grew up, I was accepted off the waitlist at another school close to where I live now. While I would have loved to eat sushi with you guys in Detroit, I checked my options and it just wasn't feasible for me as an Out of State student to still keep holding on to the waitlist here. I hope every one of you gets in here and I'd rather an acceptance go to someone who grew up here and is still waiting to hear back.

It really seems like it, very disappointing.
I went to Wayne for my undergrad and masters and have lived in Detroit all my life, would love nothing more than to continue.

I got in back on 10/15 with a 506 and 3.67. Not the lowest MCAT, but definitely lower than Wayne’s average

I mean at this point it’s all about waiting for people to rescind their acceptances which is mostly reliant on those people getting off the waitlist at their preferred schools. So they’re likely just sending out acceptances as students drop off.

Congrats on your other offer! Do you mind sharing your stats and if your EC was more research/community service focused? I think since Wayne doesn't have ranked list, they would make an offer to someone on WL with similar stats/background as the person who withdrew

As far as I recall, it has never been confirmed but many people here say this is the case

I have a feeling that they are reviewing the OOS students first, because if you think about it, it’s much easier to attend last minute if you’re from the state as opposed to moving from far away. Thoughts?
