It looks like many who survived the first several R waves in past years just end up getting R's later on. I wonder what their reason is for stringing us along

Could be based on the reviewer (some may move more slowly), or maybe some of us are in a re-review pile. Who knows, still plenty of IIs to be had!

I know that the admissions committee meets every other Tuesday (they're meeting next Tuesday); do they usually send out acceptances on those Tuesdays? Or is it more Thursdays or Fridays? My interview was 10/19 and I know it's still early but I've been thinking about it nonstop... waiting is HARD

I thought they met Thursdays and sent out acceptances Fridays… I vaguely remember them telling us this during my interview day. Where did you hear about the Tuesdays?

Hmm during my interview I thought they said that they met every other Tuesday! I'm pretty sure that's what the Associate Dean of Admissions said (Dr. Pinto-Powell)

On my interview day they said they are very conservative with A’s early on and the bulk will come later. Patience and good luck!

Based off last year’s thread, it’s likely a WL or R if you haven’t heard within a month of your interview. There are probably exceptions, but I’m just being realistic. Same boat as you 🙁
