I'm worried it's not saying anything about mail... The info session was on 1/23. Is this most likely an R?

What pathway and campus did you rank first?

Info session was on 1/23 and my status changed to "Your application is under review." Isn't it supposed to say something along the lines of "Thank you for interviewing..." Should I call and ask what's up or wait and see what happens?

You have to have taken the MCAT, or the ACT/SAT as a high schooler. If you didn’t take the latter as a high schooler you cannot take them now. Regardless, you cannot apply solely with your GPA.

I picked Elmira and the PBL pathway. I called this morning and asked when I can expect a decision and they said they had been sick this past week and gave my application to Erie... I am unsure what exactly this means and they said I should expect either mail or an email. I am taking this as a most likely rejection since most people from my info session have heard back already.

Me too! I interviewed 1/23 and my status update is saying " Your application is under review." Im honestly taking it as a rejection because they would say something if it was a waitlist, right?

Strange. I interviewed in December and was waitlisted.

Elmira does make decisions now, right? I know in the past it was Erie making all the decisions for the three campuses.

If you selected Elmira as your top choice they make decisions. I put Erie as mine so they sent my file to Erie and 85 days later I still haven't heard a peep

Oh wow. I had my info session mid-March and did select Elmira. It all seems so random though, some hear back within 3-4 weeks but others 3+ months.

Their whole ducking process is ducked. But in my experience, if you email the Elmira interviews email that you sent your ranking list to, they're pretty responsive

I will say I’ve been on the waitlist for Elmira campus since December, and I have not heard anything, even when I’ve sent them updates. I do not know if anybody else has been accepted to Elmira campus but I’m not sure that anything is really moving right now because I’ve been on waitlist for so long and I’m on waitlist for other schools and I have had correspondence with them since my placement on their WLs

Hopefully they are just behind. I've heard they still do interviews until mid-April. But also, I wonder how many people rank Elmira #1 after the session, because they said if you rank Erie or SH #1 they send the file to them instead. But yeah the lack of updates and acceptances lately is a bit scary.

After you had your info session you should’ve ranked all three northern campuses (SH, Elmira, Erie) anyways on your preference sheet. You don’t re-interview at each campus. If you’re rejected from your #1 then you’re automatically considered for your #2 etc.

I just got an A after being on the waitlist!! And I got it because I went to the school to do a tour with one of the admissions team. They told me that they love when students come to visit.

I would love to tour but the remaining dates they have just don’t work for me and they are all filled anyways ugh. Guess I got to pray not doing a tour won’t cost me but idk…

I'm just not sure how we're supposed to "stand out" with LECOM's interviewing process given their format. Plus they definitely aren't organized, I've even seen people post that they interviewed last winter or fall and still heard absolutely nothing back to this day. Insane.

Nope, I had my info session with Elmira but put Erie as my top choice and Elmira said they sent my app over to Erie because that's what I chose. I would've made Elmira my top choice if I knew choosing Erie would mean purgatory
