Congratulations! I know there is a Facebook group overall for the MCW class of 2028 but not sure if there is any specific group for Green BayHi, everyone, is there an accepted student group for MCW Green Bay campus? I just got accepted yesterday and I was shocked, thank you!
Can you link the FB group? 🙂Congratulations! I know there is a Facebook group overall for the MCW class of 2028 but not sure if there is any specific group for Green Bay

Thank you so much!I linked it here above!
Anyone know where we can find the previous years' match lists? I have struggled to find a reliable list online.
Thanks! I was hoping for a more specific list (with program names and such) but I think that is all MCW has on their site. 🙏 Happy holidaysResidency Match | Medical School | Medical College of Wisconsin
For students participating in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), or The Match, it is the culmination of a year’s work to secure a Match.www.mcw.edu
I mean I'm not sure about previous years but here's 2023.
Thanks! I was hoping for a more specific list (with program names and such) but I think that is all MCW has on their site. 🙏 Happy holidays
10 people in ortho....dangSeems pretty impressive to me for a “mid tier” program. Definitely has some similarities to some of the higher ranked programs
Would you be able to send me the name of the Facebook page? And any group me information if you know. Thank you!Congratulations! I know there is a Facebook group overall for the MCW class of 2028 but not sure if there is any specific group for Green Bay
This is the one that was linked aboveWould you be able to send me the name of the Facebook page? And any group me information if you know. Thank you!
OOS A! Interviewed 12/11 CW Campus
Hey y'all—I’m an M1 at CW! Feel free to DM any questions you might have with the campus/area/curriculum! Congrats & hope to see you on campus!
Does mcw accept students that didn’t do much research or community service?Hey y'all—I’m an M1 at CW! Feel free to DM any questions you might have with the campus/area/curriculum! Congrats & hope to see you on campus!
This is just my opinion but I feel like the quality of the experience and what you have gained/ how you've grown shown in your description is more impactful, especially with schools that are not very heavy on research. I was accepted this cycle with some research like 150-160 hours but had a bit more service close to 1000 hours. I chose to not do more research because I simply did not enjoy basic science research and being in a lab versus my clinical experience which I enjoyed way more (and had the most hours in). There are so many factors including your circumstances and what you are passionate about and everyone is going to like one activity more than others. At the end of the day if you are not applying for PhD I feel like you do not need a ton of research. And you never know stay hopeful, I wish you the best of luck this cycle!Does mcw accept students that didn’t do much research or community service?
were the questions asked during interview traditional? (i.e., why medicine etc)
Congrats!!! Complete date? ☺️+1 OOS II with strong ties! So excited for this one 🙂
Did you have any clinical experience? You mentioned service close to 1000 hours I’m assuming that’s not clinical experience? This is just my opinion but I feel like the quality of the experience and what you have gained/ how you've grown shown in your description is more impactful, especially with schools that are not very heavy on research. You got the interview invite today ? On a Sunday ?+1 OOS II with strong ties! So excited for this one 🙂
Not all faiths (or jobs!) take Sunday as a day of rest. You got the interview invite today ? On a Sunday ?
yeah, around 2:30pmYou got the interview invite today ? On a Sunday ?
Yes, my main clinical experience was scribing I had about over 2500 hours (by now, little less when I applied in July) as an ED scribe. I also had some minor experience as a medical assistant for a few months & some other minor ones too. The service hours I mentioned were mainly non-clinical during undergrad or at a warehouse organizing donations and some at a free clinic. Something to note though is I am a reapplicant I applied last year (did not get an interview at MCW last year) and this is my second time applying. I took one gap year after graduation so by the time I start it will be 2 years off college.Did you have any clinical experience? I would also like to add that I do not think the number of hours matters as much as the quality, though in my case I worked because I needed the income and trying to pay my undergrad debt and just overall financially driven reasons for working more.Yes, my main clinical experience was scribing I had about over 2500 hours (by now, little less when I applied in July) as an ED scribe. What is your LM score?Submitted secondary 10/3* and just received an interview invite. I’m OOS, no ties. To Milwaukee campus
What is your LM score?
I know right…there’s no telling who is going to get an interview. I was complete in September so I am hoping that I wasn’t given a pre-II R.so they’re reviewing those secondaries out of order -that’s interesting
I was complete July 30th and heard nothing back... kinda my only chance at this point tooI know right…there’s no telling who is going to get an interview. I was complete in September so I am hoping that I wasn’t given a pre-II R.
I got mine and actually forgot to complete thanks for the reminder!Have any accepted students received the request for the Certiphi background check yet?
