2023-2024 Washington University in St. Louis

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
This was mentioned in the Meet the Admissions Leadership Conversation, but where do we upload letters of update? I recall that they said that we can send it to our interviewers, but do we also upload it to the portal and/or email the admissions office?

For MSTP applicants, do we hear back in December or February? I am positive during the interview they said December, but the website says February. I am not sure which it is

The website says BY February, not IN February, just FYI

Does WashU accept/like post-interview updates?
Do yall think it's too late to do this given my interview date likely finds out on Dec 26? I don't have any application transforming updates, but wondering if I should at least reiterate my interest

I don't think it's too late and I also thought that their admissions dates do not correspond to our interview dates but instead we can get accepted at any one of the dates

Should I bother submitting a letter of interest / small updates or do we think they’ve already made decisions? My interview was in November and then with the holidays everything got hectic and I never sent anything.

I don't think it will hurt and I thought (I could be wrong) that people are considered at every admissions date so if that's true the LOI may certainly still be considered.

Spoke to the admissions department:
First round decisions could come out as soon as the start of next week but it is not a definite date. People from all interview dates are considered for each admissions decision cycle and there is no correlation between interview date and decision. People also get rejected and wl offers at the very end of the cycle. Hope this settles some nerves!

Hey all I got accepted into the program! I got an email early this morning where I’m from. Good luck to everyone!
Congrats!

Just to clarify, this is for the MD program, correct? Your username and prior forum activity suggest that you may be pre-occupational therapy and I know WashU has an MSOT program as well, so just wanted to make sure!

Well it seems they deleted it, so I'm guessing they posted to the wrong sub lol

For those who were accepted, does your portal reflect that/ where are you able to accept the offer?
