when did you interview? congrats!!!
sorry 🙁 I don't know any of those answers, when did you interview?Got alternate list yesterday. (11/1)
Is alternate different from waitlist ?
Does movement from the list only begin after June? Can it start earlier ?
Can I send a LOI ?
There's a facebook group. Scan the QR code in the accepted student packetis there an accepted students groupme?
sorry 🙁 what are your stats?Haven’t heard from this school at all and I see a lot of OOS applicants getting II’s and A’s on here 😢
So far I've received 8 DO acceptances from OOS but Rowan has not reached out to me despite my being from NJ 😢.Haven’t heard from this school at all and I see a lot of OOS applicants getting II’s and A’s on here 😢
Above their avg for incoming matriculants. Strong LOR’s and high hours of service and clinical. I think my secondary was well written as well. No ties to the area though. I’m just not sure what they want 😢sorry 🙁 what are your stats?
I feel you, this process is insanely stressful. Try not to worry because there is still so much time to interview!! No idea how they triage and respond to people, but still so much time and interviews left!Above their avg for incoming matriculants. Strong LOR’s and high hours of service and clinical. Wow congrats!!! Did you get it today?!Got my A! OOufff finally!
They told me 3-4 weeks! Hang in there 🙂I guess if we're nearing our 3 week deadline following our interview it's probably a rejection or waitlist right? Anyone here get the A after 3 weeks post interview?
Stronger in state, decent in the area, harder for oosdoes Rowan have a preference for East coast applicants? How strong is its bias?
Send it now, what are you waiting for. For every day that passes, more and more of an uphill battleI received a secondary invite on Aug 1. Anyone want to weigh in on how badly I've hurt my odds, assuming I send the secondary in the next couple of days? (Older non-trad, 3.94 GPA, mediocre MCAT, and born & raised in NJ.)
I would still submit! I believe they filter interviews based on stats and give applicants with extremely good stats the first couple batches of interviews. They should be sending out a lot more interviews in the next couple months (hopefully because I'm also still waiting).I received a secondary invite on Aug 1. wonderful advice, got the OOS A today. For those uneasy after not hearing after awhile, rest assured you'll be chillingThey told me 3-4 weeks! Hang in there 🙂
How long after the A did people receive the additional communication, acceptance packet etc?
Thank you!! Would you mind sharing deposit deadline?!It took about 5 days to get it via email. Haven’t received a physical copy (if they do send one).

Thank you!!!Dec 14th
Hey! I asked a current OMS-1, and they said they received a Lenovo Yoga. Was wondering if anyone knows what type of ThinkPad laptop Rowan Virtua gives?
Did anyone receive financial aid/scholarship info with their A?
It's weird that it's not stated anywhere - and if it doesn't come until May, that's not very helpful regarding deposits etc!I did not. I heard scholarship are given out much later but would also like to know about this.
Based on my understanding from another school’s FinAid department. FAFSA opens up December 1st and financial aid packages will be offered in the spring that should show what loans/scholarships you are eligible for. And if you receive scholarship money from a 3rd party, then I would assume you inform the FinAid department so they can include it your package. I’m like 90% confident that’s what happens. It's weird that it's not stated anywhere - and if it doesn't come until May, that's not very helpful regarding deposits etc!
current OMS-1 at rowansom, its required for some people. depends on grades, mcat, time since undergrad etc. if you sign up or are required to do it you must attend all days. I highly recommend pre mat. it gives you a leg up and its really great that rowan offers it. it set me up to be very successful thus far. it basically teaches you how to study before grades actually count. do it if you don't already have summer plans. It sucks to not have a summer before you start, but I have no regrets attending pre mat and im thankful for it.quick question out of curiosity about pre-matric: are there students or friends of students that could speak on their experiences attending vs not attending, was it helpful, informative, etc? and to confirm that its not mandatory, but if u do sign up for it, you must attend all days/events? thanks in advance!
Congrats!! When did you submit?OOS II yesterday! Marked complete 11/4. Very grateful to interview here! 🥳
I heard no sadly from students.Anyone know if it’s possible to change residency and qualify for instate tuition after the first year here?

I'm also wondering now, but I don't know if it's too early.do you think its a good idea to send a LOI at this time? I know its not over yet but its been a while...
