Does WSU send out updates on how full their class is/how many admissions offers have been sent out?

They sent one out about a month ago (1/20/2026) that said the following:Does WSU send out updates on how full their class is/how many admissions offers have been sent out?
"We made our second round of regular-season offers last week. We will make our next round of offers mid-February and early March to fill the class. Currently, the class is more than half full. We still have many candidates making it through our interview process and Admissions Committee (we still have 80 candidates to interview through our last interview day in early February)."
Seeing as the only date left is Early March, I would wager that maybe 20 seats are left? But this also does not account for how many people pass on their acceptances, since they tend to send out more acceptance offers than seats, according to numbers from previous years. So even if they only send 80 out before March 15th, odds are lots more movement will happen after that when people start narrowing down their acceptances and spots open up

To those that have been accepted, have you selected your desired regional campus yet or are you still awaiting instruction from the school to select the regional campus you wish to be assigned at?

I interviewed on the very last day of interviews and they told us that they would be reviewing our files today (3/6) and that we should expect to hear back from them early next week. Since we’re the last batch of applications to review, I assume this means they’ll be finished reviewing all applications today. Taking it with a grain of salt because obviously it’s a long process and it’s possible that it could end up taking more time than anticipated, but I’m pretty sure they told us they were aiming to get back to us this upcoming Tuesday.Have they made offers/calls for the last batch in March already?

Does anyone have historical data on whether non-eligible waitlisted people have gotten accepted in previous cycles? And/or how many eligible people have ended up on the waitlist?

Offers from post interview waitlisted applicants are unfortunately very unlikely. They offer quite a few post interview “eligible” positions and have not historically had to dip into the waitlisted pool to fill their class. If you are Eligible and have not heard anything by end of March, you will be automatically placed on the waitlist and those applicants will be given a higher ranking. I believe last year they made around 50ish offers from the eligible pool, and over 100 people were eligible and then waitlistedDoes anyone have historical data on whether non-eligible waitlisted people have gotten accepted in previous cycles? That seems to be the trend in the past. That being said, WSU is a newer school and things can change from year to year. Try to wait until you receive your ranking after the final waitlist is formed before you panic. I know how hard the wait is so hang in there! If you’ve made it this far you are more than qualified. Good luck!Wait so does that mean that historically “waitlist” is pretty much always a rejection?

You should receive an email with instructions on how to join the Slack, I’ve seen people discussing housing on thereare there any groups for accepted students or housing groups for current students? trying to find a place that's 1B 1B, ideally within 1-2 miles within campus. thanks!
I really hope I can know something anything soon. I don't want to wait to the end of March. My personal life has so many things to schedule, and this is causing a traffic jam. Even if I don't get an A, I want to know...

Should I be expecting an email with instructions on how to accept my waitlist spot, or am I supposed to reach out to WSU directly? I’ve seen that in previous threads, the deadline to accept/decline a spot on the waitlist was in mid-to-late March and before rankings were released.

Everyone who is eligible and waitlisted and has not heard anything by the time they fill the class will receive an email to officially claim your spot on the waitlist. After that deadline you will be able to request your ranking on the waitlist which will give you a better idea of your odds of acceptanceShould I be expecting an email with instructions on how to accept my waitlist spot, or am I supposed to reach out to WSU directly? Waitlist, was told WL after interviewing.
Does anyone know how many "eligible" people are usually moved to the top of the waitlist? Has anyone initially put in the WL category been accepted in the past?

From last years thread it seems like those marked eligible get ranked higher than normal WL applicants, and that they go through the first 60ish? (but that can change year to year)Waitlist, was told WL after interviewing.

My friend was marked as eligible last year, ended up around #60-70 on the waitlist and never made it off, and said there were a lot of other eligible people behind her on the waitlist too (if i remember correctly, ~90-100 eligible in total on the WL?). Granted, every year is different but I don't think the odds are great :/Waitlist, was told WL after interviewing.
