Money turned out to be pretty close for both (Tufts ~54K in tuition, DMS is ~5K less). **EDIT: Fortunately getting help w/ living expenses!

Only want poll responses, but feel free to add your comments - I've heard almost everything for both schools. Maybe someone out there has a different outlook.

😕

I know you're not soliciting opinions but I'd throw mine out anyway. If I had the same choice, I would go with Dartmouth but only because I don't care much for big city life. If you can't live without the conveniences and amenities of a major city then Boston will be great for you. You said money came out about the same but does it actually? Boston is going to be much more expensive in the cost of living over 4 years. Then again, is that something you're willing to accept in exchange for what I'm sure would be a great experience (both socially and clinically speaking) in Boston. Both schools have excellent match lists so that shouldn't be a differentiating factor. I know it's a tough decision but perhaps you're hoping the polls will go in favor of what you already have in mind? Good luck with choosing your school.

You've taken the "school X vs school Y" threads to a new low. Congrats.

Years from now your children will ask you why you went to Dartmouth. "Because it beat Tufts in an anonymous poll I made on an online message board"

How did Tufts notify you? Was it off the waitlist, or from a deferred position? Considering the waitlist consent just went out, it would be a quick turnaround!
