thats an interesting way to look at it and i think it makes more sense. our original theory was they start calling once they get down a certain portion of the list. but being filled makes more sense, since if someone gets poached by a more desirable schools, they can just call someone else right away. so maybe they have a filled class of people who paid deposits by now

2 or 3 years ago, they just send the email to a portion of the waitlist, but it caused a problem because people that didn't get one started calling and emailing the admission office. I think due to that they started sending the email to everyone

Just withdrew from the waitlist... Painful because UB was my first choice but I had to sign a lease/don't want to take a spot from someone with no acceptances. Good luck everyone still waiting! I'm rooting for you! UB is awesome!

I called mr. Rosso today early morning; she said that this guy who accepted on the 22ND was the most recent acceptee.... 🙁 I guess it is time to pack up and move on for me 🙁

Everyone wants to be part of the new downtown campus. Heme I can understand. .

Honestly I stopped caring (and called while I was rushing to do other personal affairs) and forgot what mr. Rosso specifically said during the call, how about someone hears it from the horses mouth to confirm... i have no more intention of wasting their time now that i am going elsewhere. Anybody, please do fact check me and tell us what Buffalo has to say...

Don't do it; call Mr. Rosso, and you'll see why. If you have no where to go, best of luck whenever you reapply
