Yep, though I have heard they do phone calls for acceptances too.

Is tufts a big research school? Anyone who interviewed there know what sort of stuff they look for? I've been complete and in review for a month and a half now. Don't have that much bio research (lots of engineering research).

i have a lot of chem research and only a little neuro research... so i think youll be ok f your other stats are good.

yep! got the invite on monday and it was either my last day of classes, first day of exams, or mid jan. At this point, getting an acceptance asap is much more important (for my sanity, if nothing else) than putting my classes first. maybe not the smartest decision but oh well!! maybe I'll see you there!!

I just got a call from the Dean at 8:50 PM EST to tell me of my acceptance😀

It showed up as a private number on my phone.

2. Also, on my cell phone, the number that Dean Neumeyer is calling from shows up as "restricted number." Make sure that you pick up!

i really dont know if he was able to get through calling everyone.... he did say that emails would be sent out today and that letters should be arriving within a few days... give it at least that much time... also when did you interview

i interviewed on one of the first days and was told i'd find out something (acceptance, hold, rejection) on the 15th or very near the 15th... eeks i'd love at least the option of staying in cambridge/boston!

Before I waste the secondary fee- I have a combined 29Q from 2 MCATs. I think Tufts takes the best in each sub section.

PS:12;BS:9;VR:8.

My GPA is pretty high in both UG and Grad schools. Should I bother applying? Thanks for any help.

According to the Dean, Tufts no longer accepts the highest score from each subsection. They look at the highest score out of the last 2 MCAT attempts. Hope that helps with your decision.

stay with a host! lol thats atually what i ended up doing bc hotels in that area are super expensive.. like $200 a night WITH the tufts discount!

I believe she told us around mid-November but she didn't want to give an exact date because it may vary a bit.
