Any one receive any acceptances yet? Anyone mind putting up their stats! this is my dream school!!!!!!

Not yet (or at least as far as I can tell)...according to the threads from the past two years it looks like a very few people received calls on Thursday (all of these people appeared to go to school in the same region), a few more receive a call on Friday, but most of the accepted find out via a change to their WUMS Apply (occurs @ midnight on Friday).

I guess we're about to find out if they are sticking with the same formula this year.

Good luck everyone!

My fiance and I have both been accepted!!!!!! Class of 2015 here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!! :soexcited:

Congratulations!! That's awesome! What a relief to have you both get in 😀

congratulations!!! 👍😀 when did you guys interview?

We interviewed on Oct 22. My interviewer (which happened to be also his interviewer) called us on the phone at ~6 pm. I was so excited I almost dropped the phone

well congrats again! You and your fiance must be quite the power couple! 😀 I can't imagine what a relief it must be to both be accepted to the same amazing school.

I interviewed November 8th and I have this little fantasy that the admissions committee has reviewed interviews that late and I'll get a call tomorrow 😍 keep on dreamin', rhesus.

Congrats again...just wanted to ask a couple more questions if you don't mind. Where are you from? Where do you go to school (state is fine)? Who was your interviewer?

Hopefully this info will give us/next year's interviewees a little more insight on when to expect acceptances.

My answers will pretty much give away my identify to others at my school, but i guess that's okay. Both my fiance and I go to WashU for undergrad and we had Dr. Dodson as our interviewer. Neither of us are from MO. We were told that the admission committe met for the first time tonight. If you don't hear back, don't be discouraged because I don't think they have reviewed that many people yet.

lol what's wrong with olin? I'll be staying there this sunday night anyone else?

olin is fine for a night, but anything longer than that would be downright depressing.

you'll be staying in sort of a guest dorm room in a large dorm for med and other grad students. don't forget to bring shower sandals. alarm clock, towels, linens are provided.

That's amazing! Even my non-premed girlfriend was impressed.

Hopefully they'll phone some of us on the West Coast tomorrow...:xf:

Ah, I remember you two! (I interviewed with you guys.) Congrats on the good news!

accepted!!!

I just got a call from the admissions office because they had the wrong address on file for me. I gave them the correct address and asked why they needed it. The lady replied, "oh, because we need to send you your acceptance letter by overnight mail, and it didn't go through the first time." 😍😍😍

To those who are accepted, it looks like you should expect something via snail mail. :luck: good luck everyone!!

oh wow! congrats to the couple! i also interviewed with you guys and we sat together during lunch! I hope i receive good news as well

Thanks! Were you the MD PhD falconer😉? If so, I really enjoyed our lunch conversation:laugh: Regardless of who you are, I wish you good luck!!

For those of you who have already interviewed, how formally did you dress for the pizza party the day before? I'm wondering if wearing jeans and a nice shirt would be okay.

Interviewing next week - planning on wearing jeans and a plain old t-shirt =P

Just go in casual, everyday clothing. The pizza party is entirely just an informal get-together, ask some questions, meet some students. Just relax 🙂

when'd you interview?

and congratulations of course!

Sept 30. It sounds like's it very possible they haven't got a chance to review you yet. I hope you hear good news soon! 🙂

got in as well. just checked my status. interviewed second week of october.

What's the deal with rejections here? Do they reject before April 15? If so, are rejections reflected in the application status or are they just by snail mail? Anybody have a clue? 😕

I'm fairly sure the only decisions they communicate before April are acceptances.

Anyone know when the next adcom meeting is? I interviewed 11/8 and I'm pretty sure they haven't gotten around to my app yet.

interviewed sept 27. havent heard. 🙁 does this mean im waitlisted? will they tell me if im waitlisted?

Hey...so I just interviewed a couple weeks ago, but the more I think about it the more I feel like WashU is my top choice and I'd matriculate there if accepted. Is it too early in the game to send a letter of interest?

A couple of my interviewers at other schools told me that if I really felt strongly about a school (would most likely matriculate if accepted), I should send a letter of interest stating this right after the interview -- or at least before the committee meets to make a decision on my file. I wasn't told this at WashU specifically, but I did hear it more than once. I'd say go for it.. it can't hurt to let them know that you really like the school!

p.s. i love your username 🙂

They told the group on my interview day that if WashU is our top choice, then we should definitely let them know. So go for it!

Acceptance in the mail (express/overnight) today!!! I was SHOCKED, as I interviewed on Tuesday (11/16).

Maybe they were the two missed calls I had from an unknown number yesterday while I was teaching? I feel so blessed!

Wow...congrats! Did you have a status update online as well?

Yes, but I didn't check the status online until after I got the snail mail, since I didn't think I would be hearing for another 1-2 months. It says "Congratulations, Dpekerholm.
Pay acceptance Tuition Deposit." Right down to business, I guess!

There was a typo in the acceptance letter, as well as in the status page...so I hope it is not some type of scam! 😉

Good luck to you, Rhesus. I love the username, and I spent 4 years in lovely Minnesota for my undergrad...what a great place!

That is THE quickest turnaround that I've heard of. Congratulations!!! They must have really liked you as an applicant ;D

My interviewer told me that it was very important to keep WashU updated on your interest. I sent a letter of interest telling them they were one of my top choices and why a little over a week ago and I don't know if it helped or not but it sure didn't hurt 🙂
