Apparently the student host list won't be made until classes start up since everyone is gone for summer.

Instead of posting this in every thread, how about just looking at the previous posts. People have posted when they submitted and when they got interviews.

If you can't do that math, then good luck getting into med school, bud.

Sorry, I just wanted to put something in the thread so I could receive the updates in my phone from the sdn app. I thought id just use that question to do that for the threads I'm interested in.
Didn't mean to bother you guys.

Anyone know if earlier interviews in the fall session put you at an advantage, or are all fall interview dates weighed equally? I originally signed up for 10/31 but now I might need to move it back to late November. Will that hurt my chances at all?

Finally heard back. First rejection. Definitely stung. I had actually drafted a letter of interest but was too afraid to send it in this early. Definitely not going to wait again for other schools if I'm put in the same situation..

Good luck to everyone else in the running 🙂
 
mind me asking when u guys were complete? 7/9 here and no news so Im assuming a rejection soon.
 
I have received an interview and I know I mentioned in my application that I would love the chance to go back to the northeast, so perhaps mentioning something to that effect - that you have a serious interest in the school - could help? Good luck to everyone still in limbo!

rejected today as well. 3 invites, two rejections, not sure what to think of my app at this point 😕 congrats to those who have gotten interviews! wish i could've had the opportunity to visit and learn more about this school.

Edit: FWIW, my application was complete 7/9

boo sucks for all the rejections 🙁 I've been complete since 7/12 with no news. definitely just checked my status because I feared the worst...still in the running for now!
 
This process is befuddling sometimes...hang in there everyone!

Hey guys so boston marked me incompleta today because my letters don't have the letterhead from my school. Should I have my professors resend the letters to AMCAS? Will they automatically send boston the new updated letters or do I need to make two new letter writers for AMCAS?

This happened to me as well. I asked my professor to re-send a letter through Interfolio with the letterhead and a signature, and then I forwarded it to AMCAS. I re-sent that same letter to the school and was complete the next day.
 
i submitted, complete between 7/1 and 7/5 no feedback yet, at all. no rejection but no invite either. 3.9+ science and cumlative. 35 mcat. top 30 school.

dunno what to make of this. im worried about einsten and this school screwing me. really like einstein too. boston well.. not so much but i would take an invite if given one for sure and would attend.

got an invite at a few places so my app isnt too bad i suppose.

I've heard nothing as well. Complete 7/5. No interviews or rejections yet.

Did you end up sending a LoI? I'm terrified now haha 🙁 I might draft one up tonight and send it out tomorrow, but then again maybe thats just my nerves getting the best of me.

I got my rejection email as I was uploading my LOI. I still regret not turning it in earlier..

Yeah I did haha. I'm not sure it'll make a difference goobs but I figured why not. I still haven't heard back yet so guess we shall see!

How useful is it to send in a LoI pre-interview? I had similarly high stats to the others who posted before and got rejected and am considering this too. Would it be weird to mention having a SO attending grad school in the area (I'm OOS)?

I'm assuming they haven't looked at the applications complete after August 1st?
 
This is like one of those horror films where a group of kids are lost in the woods and are waiting for the monster to come get them one by one...
