Any idea when the next round of acceptance phone calls are going to go out?

When I interviewed they made it sound like we'd hear End of Jan/Early Feb. Becuase of that, I've been holding off on sending an update letter (figure I'll save it for if I get WLed, so they have something nice and new to look at when they reconsider me). But if we're not going to here for another month+ I'm just going to send it now.

Interviewed in early January and they said we should hear by mid-late February

When will more interview invites being coming out. I've been told by various that Tufts tends to interview Massachusetts residents at the end unless they have very high scores. Does anyone else thinks this is true.

Just got an interview invite today. Set for next Tuesday! They had a few more dates available too. They're interviewing up until the end of March.

Also got an interview invite today. Mine is March 19th. Better late than never

I also got an II today and I'm a MA resident. I'd like to just withdraw and let someone else who actually likes this place go instead, but I don't have an acceptance yet so....

are there still slots open or was today probably the last day of invites

When I checked there were only four days open. March 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th. There were no slots in Feb nor April

Is there a Facebook page for accepted students? If so, would someone please post a link?!

Actually, you need 2 people to make a facebook group. Someone PM me a link to their facebook profile and we'll make it together.

Accepted by phone! Interviewed 1/17

Sent from my Nexus 4

I called them and they told me that my application was "still with the committee". Any thoughts on what that could mean? Was it literally being deliberated when I called?

I would just start drinking so you stop worrying.

3/19, 3/21, 3/26, 3/28 still available on their website.

To answer previous Q: yep, 2nd week in January, 1/10/13.

ACCEPTED via phone yesterday 🙂!!! Interviewed third week of January

Has anyone who interviewed for Maine Track in January heard any news?

I interviewed in mid January and was accepted on Monday (2/11) by phone! This is my first acceptance and I'm so greatful it is at a school I love 😍

Has anybody else who was recently accepted received an email or seen their status change online?

Same story here - no email, letter, or status change, just the phone call. He said it would go out in a day or two, so hopefully we'll get it soon!

Is Tufts receptive to letters of interest and updates pre-interview?
If so, who should it be addressed to? Dead or admissions office?

On their portal, if you go to user options, there is a upload document option. My salutations just began with "Dear admissions committee"

Good luck!

I was accepted in December got an e-mail 11 days after I got the call. Snail mail came a couple days after the email. No status change though.

Hope you don't have to wait that long!

Does anyone have information on when the White Coat Ceremony is being held in September?

Does anyone know when second look weekend is scheduled?

So I should probably start worrying and/or drinking heavily if I haven't gotten a phone call yet. Good to know.

deferred via snail mail. not sure whether being deferred via snail mail vs. email means anything. anyone else get snail mail deferred decision?

Yep, I'm a little unsure as well. Sounds like it means that each Thursday the committee will look at our application again and compare us to the new batch of interviewees, upon which we may receive acceptance. Has anyone here been deferred and then accepted this application cycle? If so what was the time lapse?

not that I know of, i think we just need to hang tight for a few more months and just be happy we received this notice and not a rejection (because I know those have gone out)

From what is on last year's thread, most of the defered applicants did not hear back until they were waitlisted in May. This kind of sucks, but at least Tufts may have a somewhat high waitlist turnover...

(I was also defered, so hopefully I'll be able to get off the waitlist...)
