Oh, I'm aware; I was just wondering about the bulk. Based on past history, do you have any idea whether or not "early" interviewees (sep/oct) are *generally* notified earlier (i.e. Jan)? I know how the admissions process works (scoring/ranking system), but I was curious as to whether interview date had any sort of effect on notification unless you happened to be absolutely amazing or absolutely terrible. Thanks
Don't think so. Since there's a post-interview ranking system, I think your post-interview score will dictate when you hear back. Judging from other schools, it seems like this post-interview ranking system takes place almost immediately following your interview. So by January, they probably have a ginormous list compiled of all the scores of all the interviewees who have been ranked until the point, so in the end, interviewing in September vs November doesn't really matter. All that matters is that score.
