They send you an email telling you that your decision is ready and to check your account.

but last year some people even got acceptance calls from Admission Office before Jan. 31...who knows? This year may be different.

I believe they told our interview group that they would not be making phone calls this year. Only emails.

EDIT: Thus, I think we will all hear at the same time. Possibly in 15 hours.

Off-putting? But look how serene and happy he is! His smile instills a sense of peace and calm, letting us all know that true beliebers "never say never" and we all will (eventually) get into medical school!

(For the record, I'm not actually a fan, especially in light of his recent antics lol)

Smart move - the day my decision came out I had to fumble for my password and couldn't find it for a while! Stressful 🙂
 
Accepted!! Best morning ever! Slow internet atm, so the loading time was torture.

Congratulations to those accepted! and good luck to the rest!

For those still waiting, they might still be updating the site or something, hence the lack of emails.
 
I'm really confused. Today, I received an email that said my application was now complete, yet I had submitted my supplement + payment etc... a couple months ago, at which time I received an email thanking me for submitting my application.

I'm not sure what to make of the new email, but it says that they've now received all my materials and that my application will be reviewed by the admissions committee sometime between the coming weeks and the end of April. I understand that some decisions were sent out today (super-congrats to everyone receiving good news!). Maybe this is just meant to inform us that they are moving onto the next "batch" of applicants.

Has anyone else had a similar experience pre-II?

Accepted through status page!!! No email here. I thought my Skype interview went horrible! Can't wait for second look! Congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to those still waiting!
 
Accepted!! This was the most painful wait ever! But it paid off. Congrats to those who got accepted and Good luck to everyone else!

Where does it say it? I don't see anything... Is that bad? It is visible on the main menu or is there something I need to click?

Interesting... Here's my datapoint: I'm pre-II and did not receive that email today. When you log into the application website, does it list a complete date for you? Mine says "Application Status: Completed on 7/11/2013".

I am post-interview and see the same thing. I can't find any link for "decision status"

Yea...its visible in the main menu underneath the completed tab. It says "decision made" (not exact words) and then it has a link to open it. Maybe they are in the process of doing the status change thing. They haven't sent out any emails yet as far as I know. So...stay hopeful!

Oh, well, you're in a different boat than the person I was replying to, but as far as your question goes: Did you check the Message Center link on the left hand side after you log in?
 
ACCEPTED TOO!!!!!!! so so happy!

FYI: I did not get an email status update (yet?). However, I did check my online status via admissions portal. My decision was in a link on the front page (after logging in).

I hope others find good news today and later in their cycle! What a wait!

I do not see any "Decision" hyperlink on my main page either....I don't think they update individual webpage manually....oh well..guess it is not meant to be

Yeah, it lists 1/29/2014 as the completion date, but the submitted date back in November. Ah well, not going to put much thought in to it considering that I've been kind of just assuming a rejection for awhile.
 
Did everyone accepted also get the email around 11:08 AM?
