So if no update after a November interview does that mean a rejection?
I am sure it does not mean a rejection. It could be that you were waitlisted or maybe even that they did not make a decision for you yet. I don't know what their process is like.So if no update after a November interview does that mean a rejection?
FWIW I interviewed early October, didn't hear anything back during the first round of acceptances, and got the status change yesterday. So I highly doubt you've been rejected! Good luck 🙂
Yeah I sent them a brief update letting them know that one of my first author publications had been accepted, but I think I sent that before the first round of acceptances.did you submit an update?
Based on some posts in this thread, some people who interviewed in early November have already been accepted. WashU doesn't have any specific decision release times (that's what they said at my interview); instead, it seems like acceptances are given little by little in order of applicant's desirability for the school 🙂when can those who interviewed earlier nov expect to hear back?
So if I interviewed mid-October, should I assume I have been placed on the waitlist?
Crazy, just got a II. Complete July. They're rolling admissions so is it worth going or am I just interviewing for the waitlist?
Hey, I got an II here a couple days back too. According to the last three years, it didn't seem like late January interviewees got anything other than a waitlist or rejection. I could be wrong though.
Is that from MDapps.com?
I can't speak to what you're interviewing for, you should probably decide to go or not go based on your interest in the school. However, I was Wash U undergrad and you should know that usually the Wash U med waitlist is HUGE. There is usually some decent movement, but the size of the list is so large the movement seems much, much smaller.Crazy, just got a II. Complete July. Applied in July, interviewed in December, accepted this afternoon. LizzyM >77. I really liked WashU and will probably attend the Second Look. It'll be tough deciding between here and the less expensive in-state TX schools.
This isn't a big part of my decision process at all, but I am curious if anything came from the discussions mentioned earlier in the thread about potential changes to the grading system for second year?
Congratulations to you sir!
Did you hear back back via snail mail or some other way?
Congrats! Did your online status change?Phone call from the person who interviewed me (who was a really great guy--I had a fantastic time getting to talk to him in the interview)
Congrats! Did your online status change?
According to previous posts, it says you were accepted on the home page of the application websiteDon't think your status online changes at all
Missed that then lol. I was referring to the website where I submitted all the secondaries/forms, etc. there was no update there besides being "complete". I did get a letter the next day though (1 day shipping)According to previous posts, it says you were accepted on the home page of the application website

That's what I thought too... Pretty quiet on sdn. Nothing changed for me eitherNo news? Wasn't today a decision day?
WashU is the preferred colloquial name.People with ties to/knowledge of the school:
Is it okay to call it WashU? Is there some other preferred name?
Anyone interview in Nov get accepted this round?
I interviewed last week... thoughts on when I could possibly hear back?
I am getting really nervous now, I'm nearly positive that I've been waitlisted. many people who interviewed mid October like me have already heard back with acceptances. I wish they would just go ahead and tell me.
Is Wustl no longer giving out ii's?

Is there a Facebook group for accepted students this year? Thanks
