Just want to get SDN's ideas of my current situation...
I applied straight out of UG and was interviewed (November, end) and was waitlisted (January, middle).
Since then, I will have received my master's degree in chemistry, beefed up my EC (by A LOT), written better essays, gotten two publications (one cover-featured).
In addition, my three LOR's from graduate school are from my research advisor (mentor) (very strong LOR), dean of academics, and head of the biochemistry department.
Furthermore, I scored well on the first MCAT, but my VR was the weak link. So, I studied for the MCAT again and improved my verbal to a solid score.
Do you think that is enough to push me into the accepted pool? I ask because about one week ago (less if not including weekends) I was put "on hold".
Cheers and thanks!
