Interviewed Monday. Awesome experience. Two interviews, both were conversational. A couple AMCAS topics came up in one.

Amazing facilities, caring, funny people. Even had one faculty member go around the room and name something about each applicant off the top of his head!

They had mentioned they were currently at 5500 applications.

Good luck to everyone, and to those interviewing, relax!

EDIT: If you need a hotel, I suggest the Best Western Plus. I checked out the day of my interview but they still let me store my bags during the day, picked me up after the interview, and dropped me off at train station.

They definitely have a lot more applicants compared to the numbers on msar!

I bet a lot of people saw MSAR numbers and thought this school would be less competitive, decided to send in apps en masse, essentially making it more competitive. 5500 secondaries by August is crazy, especially since they're planning on handing out 500-600 IIs.

I think MSAR used the year before's numbers. Their stats match up to what's reported for class of 2017, according to the Quinnipiac page.

It's been almost a month that Quinn has not received 1 of my letters from AMCAS. I emailed them and they said there was a glitch but I have not heard back nor has the problem been fixed. Anyone have the same problem?

5500 applications is referring to AMCAS applications right? I doubt that many people got secondaries in so far.

I am on the verge of rescinding my app. I put Netter as my one and only school to be able to submit my primary. My LizzyM score is >65. Mcat really killed my chances of applying pretty much anywhere else, you guys think I would just throw in a hail mary app in and just retake the mcat early for an early submission next year?

If you have submitted the primary, you will be re-applicant next year anyway. You have nothing to gain by withdrawing your application at this point.

You can go to their website, they have all the information you need there. I stayed at the first one they have on the list, which is the Best Western Plus North Haven Hotel, and they drive you to the school, which is really close.

If you click on the status tab on the secondary website it should say "your application is ready" idk if that means complete but I would assume so.

Yup, that's what it says. I'm assuming it means complete, too.

There are no "complete" emails. The last one I received from them was an email saying my secondary was submitted. As other people have already mentioned, the status of the application will eventually say "application is ready." If they select you for a II, they will send you an email. Hope that helped.

For being a new school, Frank H. Netter seems to be really popular. Anyone know why? I have to admit though, I'm pretty excited for this school as well! For me, I think it is the fact that they seem very student oriented. Looking at their faculty, it also looks like they put together a talented and experienced faculty.
