2015-2016 Rosalind Franklin University Application Thread

How are people getting in touch with admissions? Tried emailing them, calling them, leaving a voicemail and none of it worked. Does anyone know when the prereq requirements have to be complete and if they accept an online biochem course?

In my experience, they got back to me by email within 3 days and I have usually been able to get someone on the phone. I think the email way is best though bc it seems like the email gets sent to the person with the right info and expertise to answer properly, versus whoever may be working in the office at the time

Anyone Interviewing Jan 27th? What do most people do for travel arrangements? I'm getting to Chicago on the 24...

Rejected as well. Expected it. It's kind of therapeutic to unsubscribe from threads.

Just got an interview. The earliest I could get was March 2nd. If anyone drops, let me know!! I hope to interview sooner.

Watching these threads, life has just been one big roller-coaster lately.

Just got an interview waitlist, guess all their spots are full. How interesting. Will be turning it down anyways if it turns into an actual interview.

Also got interview waitlist. Does anyone have any information on this? I don't know how much I want to get my hopes up -_-

Still nothing on my end 14 weeks complete, rejection train should be rolling in soon though, definitely don't fit Rosy's mission and stats.

Another +1 for the interview waitlist. Seems to be a lot of us on this waitlist, I'm going to stay on it but am not going to hold my breath.

After seeing all these posts I just keep refreshing my inbox waiting for any sort of news yet nothing comes. Ugh, SDN will be the death of me, gotta go hide somewhere the internet can't find me. 🙁

II just now, they gave me 7 dates to pick from and they were all filled except for 3 in March.

Just received II, what's a interview waitlist?. Complete 8/13 no communication until now. OOS ~67 Lizzy.

+1 to the Interview Waitlist, AKA the rejection waitlist 🙁 Haha. I'd love to interview here, but I'm not holding my breath. I can't believe all the spots are filled up through to March 3, and that's so late!

My understanding is that they historically interview into April though.

I'm guessing this is their way of giving us news and stemming all the SDN complaints.

Should be movement from this ii waitlist - last year invites were sent all the way into March.

I'm placed on the interview waitlist as well. I quickly skimmed last year's thread and it seems that many people do drop their interviews through Jan-Feb. CMS also interviews all the way up to late April so there is hope =)

Interview wait list... Withdrawing, kinda impossible to get to Chicago from Canada on one day's notice.

Also put on the interview waitlist. Considering someone got an II while people were posting they got an II waitlist email, does that mean that there really are interview dates still available and they just told us that they are full to make us feel better?

There were II's and some rejections today. It's gone either way. I feel like this list may have movement. It doesn't help us or the school to string along unnecessarily. I'm choosing to keep at least some hope alive.

Last year people were getting IIs in early April for the April 24th interview. Some who interviewed as late as March were accepted.

Loving the optimism, guys!

Also got the interview wait list email, but I'll be withdrawing. Good luck to everyone!

To possibly clear this up-- my boyfriend got an interview about half an hour before I got interview waitlisted. But, we saw the emails at the same time. I think people just posted when they received the email, not necessarily when they were sent. When he signed up for an interview, there really was only one date left.

II received today (just noticed now, though I'm abroad but I believe the email was time stamped 4 hours ago). They offered me MANY more dates than any other school has offered: every Friday and a smattering of Wednesdays through beginning January to March in fact... I have two other acceptances, and will not be considering this school further over those. Hope my slot will go to one of you on hold!

Still no II, no interview wait list and no rejection. Ahhhhhhhh :wtf:

Pre-interview hold/waitlist... They said not to accept a place in the waitlist if you can't travel with day-before notice, but that seems a little ridiculous. Did anyone else from out of town (or across the country...) decide to stay on the waitlist?
