Hey guys, I'm a bit concerned over here... After reading that many people are seeing their complete date on their portal, I took another look at mine and still have the "your application documents are being processed. You will be notified of status updates." Am I alone back here? Should I call them up or send an e-mail to see if theres some weird reason that my application isn't complete yet?

I submitted 7/22 and just passed the 5 month mark.

I got an email about 3 weeks after I submitted my secondary that I was complete. It also says in my portal that I am complete and should hear back in 2 months. Maybe give them a call after the holidays.

Lol... so I compulsively e-mailed them almost immediately after posting this and I am proud to say that I am complete today! Thanks for the advice everyone!

wait...is there a reason you were complete so many months later? cuz that makes no sense unless your recommendation letters or something came in later? if you submitted in July, you should have been complete months ago!

Nope, no reason. I'm guessing that due to the sheer volume of applications, mine must of been lost among the masses. I'm just happy they got to it and I'm still in consideration!

Exactly! I was fortunate enough to get an interview from SUNY Upstate and Downstate.
It is an amazing institution 🙂!

ah lucky you! I got rejected from Upstate pre interview 🙁 , still waiting on Downstate and SBU! Heard many great things about all three schools so wherever you get in will be a great school to go to!

I am sorry to hear this. I was complete so late in the game, that I thought I wouldn't hear anything from any school. I submitted my primary in October and completed most of my secondaries in late-October to mid-November.
We will hear great news from Stony, and will probably meet during the interview trial or something 😉

I'm sorry to hear about the less-than-great news.

Although I submitted my secondary app in Oct, I didn't receive a "complete" email until about 2 months later. Were anyone of you in a similar situation? May I ask when you submitted your app vs. when you received a complete email notification? Thanks!

I submitted in late August and got the complete email about 3-4 weeks later. I have not heard anything back yet though.

Omg 11 invites, mind sharing your Stats ? I'm praying for my third invite overall a very broad number of schools some of which I'm more then meet their standards this process is killing me ! Granted my Ec's are not what they should be but I'm working on them. Very nice to see somebody do so well this cycle, congrats

Your scores and GPA are awesome! I am sure you will have more interviews coming! Just remember that it's not the COUNT of the interviews you get, it's where and if you want to go there in the first place! Good luck with the rest of the cycle! 🙂

Your stats are awesome. But stats aren't everything these days, ECs are also important. I'm sure you're going to do well this cycle though. I'm only interviewing at the schools I'm strongly considering, since I've already been accepted into my state school. Good luck and PM me if you want stats.
