You guys I will never, ever look at the colors red and green the same way again. Never.
 
To answer the questions about status and in progress...once your file is "under review" it will have a green check mark. There are a number of different reasons why it may take longer to go under review and you are supposed to get an email when it goes under review. Although some have reported not receiving it.
 
+1 for 7/6, I'm at green check mark and in progress. Never received complete email, but have complete status in the communication tab. I'm hoping the lack of rejection just means that we are still up for consideration for future interview invites.
 
Ugh, I was complete on 7/10 and my LizzyM is much lower than some of you guys who got rejected. Guess now I just have to wait for them to get around to sending me a rejection email too

What are these reasons, just out of curiosity? And how long before I should worry that it's not in progress yet?
 
I'm part of the group that is still waiting, but we all need to exercise some patience. Just because you weren't sent an II a week after you applied or in the first wave of II, doesn't mean you are for sure rejected. It is still extremely early in the game and there is no point in speculating what is happening, because no one really knows except for adcoms.

I received an "under review" email immediately after submission of my secondary, but I don't have a green checkmark next to my "in progress" status. Am I under review technically or not?

There is nothing to worry about since we are getting a lot of apps a day it takes time to get through them all. Different people take different amounts of time to screen.

You are not under review until your MCAT score and all your LOR are turned in and processed through AMCAS.
 
has anyone who submitted 7/7 or later gotten any movement? II or rejections? *the wait is killing me* #dead

For what it's worth, I was complete very early, had the green check for a while, and then got an II on Monday. Don't give up hope!
 
Submitted 7/8, LOR submitted around 7/20, 7/29 II dont lose hope!
 
argh submitted July 10th and STILL a red exclamation point! My reviewer needs to pick up the pace!
 
Submitted 7/20 and just got the email that I am complete and under review. Hoping for the best!!

Oh. I was complete on 7/10 but I still don't have a green check mark, so I'm starting to worry just a bit. Anyone else complete 7/10 or before and still doesn't have a green check mark? Letters, scores, and everything else are already in.
 
Does anyone know what the earliest interview date is?
 
I was complete on 7/9 according to the portal but never got a complete email. Anyone else? Anxiously waiting for a II here
 
First II here, as well! LizzyM of 66, completed 7/21, and I'm incredibly grateful/excited to visit NOLA!

I don't post much, but I know how nerve-wracking this process is, and just wanted to tell y'all to keep pushing through. We'll get through this 🙂
 
Still nothing... complete email and green "in progress" check mark 7/9. Frustrating to see that people after me have gotten IIs already... hope that's not a bad sign for me. Congratulations to those of you that have gotten interviews thus far, though!
