Does Wake Forest put people on hold or does the application status always say complete and in review? Do they send out rejections early on or at the end of the cycle? Thanks for the help everyone!
 
Still haven't received a secondary (submitted primary on 8/18). Had pre-written this secondary too 🙁
 
I'm having trouble finding the status link. It is separate from the site we submitted too, correct? Could someone please send it to me? Thanks!
 
Hold on a sec... just search "wake" in my email account and the email for the secondary appeared (got it 4 days ago?).... Weird, but I'll take it.

This school doesn't heavily screen though correct?
 
Do you guys know how strict they are with their 3 week deadline for submitting a secondary? I completely missed that in the email and submitted mine yesterday (2 two days past the 3 week deadline).

haha last time I checked, asking a question in 4 threads is not unreasonable. After combing through 15+ websites with several not saying anything on the subject, I figured y'all would be more helpful. Sorry you had to waste your time replying to my post with something completely unhelpful.

Speaking of which, I still haven't received my rejection from there but I have updated my avatar in solidarity. Now.....Wake Forest, do something interesting.
 
Checked my status here today, nothing thus far! Fingers crossed for the future 🙂

Where does it display your status when you log on into the portal? I have submitted mine but haven't gotten a complete email and there isn't even a status bar in my portal.. anyone else experiencing the same thing?

In the very first email Wake Forest sent to us, there is a link to a status page. A very plain one but it is clear on what your status is. The link is different than the one they sent that leads to a secondary.
 
Anyone here just do 2 of the required essays? Or is it generally recommended to do all 3 of the required ones?

Someone from the admissions office earlier on the thread said it didn't really affect your chances of admission to do all 3, but "most applicants did"

I personally did them all because I'm a neurotic ass premed and I dont wanna look like im slackin or something

I did 2. It doesn't matter the number of essays, what matters is content. If you answer all 3 but one of your responses is repeating information that you have included elsewhere in the application then it's just a waste of your time and theirs because they have to read it again.
 
But, if your three essays offer different and compelling insights into yourself, then you've just told the admissions committee a better and more complete story than the applicant who wrote two.
 
Seriously guys it does not matter. There are people that have received interview invites by just doing 2 and others that did 3 and didn't receive an invite. They care about content more than quantity so if you don't have anything to add to the third prompt then don't waste your time and their time trying to repeat your answers

Can we please just stop this ridiculousness and get back to the purpose of this thread? It is no longer funny to joke about the number of prompts you may or may not have responded to. The joke is over!
