hi guys to contact them or send them an update what number/email did you guys send it to. I am having a hard time finding the proper channels or phone number to see if they got my update

To people that have NOT been interviewed yet:
When you check your application status, does it state: "Interview [lock symbol] Not scheduled yet"?

I never got an email about an interview. I also checked my spam and found nothing. I want to make sure I didn't accidentally miss something important.

mine says the same thing, if I recall correctly there were other people who also had this on their status, so I'm assuming it's like this for everyone who has been marked 'complete'

I don't think it means anything regarding whether you'll receive an II or not. It just means one has not been sent.

That's what my status says also. Also haven't heard anything from them since the email about my secondary being reviewed/screened. Not sure what it means, trying not to read into it.

I had this status since being complete and even after scheduling my interview it hasn't change. Seems to mean nothing.

I assume there would be a notification in the communication status tab (not sure though)?

Does anyone know how many people they interview on a specific date?

On my II, they said they interview 8-10 students in a day. They interview on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so they interview 16-20 students a week! In my case, 10 people interviewed the same day I did.
Ah okay thanks for the info!

Has anyone called to inquire on status update pre-II? Also how receptive were they?

I called a couple of days ago and they basically just told me my application was still active and that they don’t discuss status over the phone. That they’re constantly reviewing and extending interviews. She was like it’s just a waiting game.

Guys remember how I said I had a weird feeling about this week? Apparently I got an II Jan 22 and was asked to reply within 48 hours and I didn’t for some reason it was in my spam email.
I am currently calling in to beg in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that they please let me atill sign up for a date.

HUCM Admissions [email protected] Just the regular admissions email. My update was confirmed pretty quickly.

Interviewing here this week. For those who've interviewed before, can you tell me what the supplemental questions are? Also for those who are still waiting for your IIs, keep the faith. hoping for a good week ahead for you.
Good luck to you!

do they accept transcript updates? and if so, does it need to be an official transcript? I want to send in the final grades from my master's program but the website says not to send transcripts, however people on this thread have sent in grades so I'm not sure

They do. Sent mine to admissions and got a confirmation it was added to my file

I guess I should have asked when I first posted this, but how harmful is it to update with a transcript if your GPA dropped since submitting? my app included my first semester master's grades at a 4.0 but I graduated with a 3.8. I received 2 B+'s (one of which was a med school course) and a B. I feel like thats still pretty decent for a master's program but it is still a GPA drop. this GPA still blows my uGPA out of the water so I feel like it'll still speak to the academic changes I've made since undergrad. what do you guys think? don't wanna update my way into a rejection lol

Quite honestly, this falls into the category of putting your best foot forward.. aka your best foot is the one with the 4.0 masters gpa. You are not lying, if they ask of course give them the real information but if having the 4.0 masters gpa gives your ugpa the biggest boost, that is what i will do.

so you're saying I SHOULD NOT send in my transcript? and just leave them with the single-semester transcript they already have with the 4.0? just clarifying lol. even with the 3.8, it still gives my uGPA a boost because the grades are higher than majority of my undergrad grades so that was the angle I was looking at it from: even though my GPA did drop, it's the best academic record I've ever had lol

Send in your update, emphasize that you completed all requirements and have been awarded the degree of ____. Completed degree is better then in-progress.

Someone answered this question in a previous post several weeks ago. He or she said they didn't remember everything they had to answer, but from what I recall, it was something along the lines of your desire to pursue medicine, classes that you may be currently taking, and any additional scores, like SAT and ACT.

Has anyone been accepted recently (like within the last week)?
I interviewed 1/10, got an email 1/26 saying my file was reviewed and they want to see my fall 2017 grades so i sent them and was told it would be re-reviewed 2/8. now its been over a week and im getting kind of nervous!

They also emphasized that if you do not meet their “minimum” requirements you will NOT be granted an II. They are very strict on the 494 MCAT and 3.0 gpa

Quick question, this is 3.0 cGPA?
