Anyone have an idea of what this means for my chances or when I might hear back?

My post-II specifically mentioned that I was on the waitlist, so if your updated didn't refer to a waitlist - I'd assume that they are not the same

Called admissions and got through! They said that a post II hold is not a waitlist, it just means they are still reviewing our application. It's also not a hold where they set our applications aside to re-review in spring like they do at some schools. The committee meets monthly and the next meeting is near the end of the month. People should start hearing back a couple weeks after that.

So they wrote in the complete email it should take 8-10 weeks to hear and yet they only meet monthly.... what? No wonder it's taking forever to hear anything

Is it not on the website? Morning ends around 12 and afternoon ends around 5 PM. There's a lunch/reception afterwards though.

SDN represents only a small fraction of the candidates who have been interviewed. I know someone who has been accepted after October.
