You may have interviewed well but at the end of the day your overall points gives you a rank. You probably didn't make the cutoff for the offers sent out for now but I'm sure you will get it soon!

Hope so man, I have more II’s to go but was hoping to have this one secured so I could have some sort of peace of mind.

Are they going to be sending offers throughout the pre-match period? Is there still a chance that I get pre-matched even though I interviewed in September?

For sure dude, I didn't get prematched to the school I really wanted but we can only do our best.

Yeah they definitely can. Any rejected prematch offers will most likely be sent out as a bunch of new acceptance offers later on in the period.

IIRC, last year they sent out three batches of pre-match acceptances each about 2 weeks apart.
To everyone who pre-matched congratulations! I'm looking forward to meeting some of y'all next year! :welcome:

Interviewed here yesterday... I like the school and it's closer to home... But I am pretty sure I bombed at least one of my MMI interviews. Anyone in the past got accepted after a bad MMI experience?

Thank! It makes me feel a little bit better 🙂 Congratulation on your prematch!
Bombing one station isn't a big deal as long as you didn't say something that is a deal breaker, such as, "I hate (insert race of people)...etc. stuff like that. If you simply didn't explain yourself well or got nervous you are probably fine.

Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using SDN mobile

Welcome to TCOM for those who are 100% going! We have a great curriculum and very caring faculties!

Hey guys so I am confused about something, I accepted the pre match offer on their student center for TCOM but am still waiting on word at Texas Tech and would give preference there? How do I go about this, matching is kinda confusing to me.

I thought I had bombed my MMI overall as I felt super nervous during it and did not feel good coming out of it, however to my surprise I did get a pre-match! Just remember that MMI is only one part of your overall application. Also, don't do what I did and keep trying to re-imagine how it went haha because it will just make you more nervous. Good luck!

I saw someone comment that they noticed a PreMatch trend of extending offers every 2 weeks starting from Dec. 15th- anyone have any idea or experience as to when to expect the next PreMatch date here?

I would assume the week after thanksgiving and the second/third week of December (from there the university will be on an official break until the end of pre-match and is likely not to send out offers.)

Hope so. Sounds crazy but I’m hoping to get in somewhere else, but PreMatching here would give me some peace of mind lol

Through email or portal?
My portal has been giving an error almost every time I try to log in.

TCOM sent out an email that the portal would be down for maintenance over the break, the dates were from the 21st to the 25th, so maybe they started early or maybe they are experiencing issues as the system is prepped for the upgrade.

I interviewed here last week of Oct and we were told it takes 3-4 weeks to make a decision. Next week would be the end of 4 weeks. I was wondering if they will let me know whether I prematched, waitlisted, or rejected or could they stay silent until the match day in Feb? How does it work, can someone explain please? thanks

Waitlists are exclusively sent during the week of February 1st.

It is, however, possible that you receive a prematch acceptance in the next batch or are rejected. My understanding is that if your portal ever changes to “This application has been reviewed”, that means you’ve been rejected or waitlisted (from UNTHSC EY2017 thread), and some people have reported receiving rejection mail.

Anyone know how many MMI stations there are for the interview day? Also will they have any traditional interviews, or are the MMIs the only thing that they will be doing that is related to our decision?

Oops also had another question. Anyone know how long each MMI station lasts for? Trying to get a mental picture of what I should be expecting

2 minutes to read the prompt and mentally prepare outside the room and then 6 minutes inside the room to discuss with the interviewer.

Hey y'all, I have an interview here on Tuesday (super excited) and was wondering if you can take notes during the MMI process? Can I bring a small notebook and pen into the room? Also what did y'all bring with you on the interview day? I was planning to bring a small pad-folio with my CV and PS just in case. Thoughts?

To add on, when your 6 minutes are up, your 2 minutes to prepare for the next MMI begins immediately. The interviewers understand this so cordially thank them so you can best prepare for your next MMI.

Congratulations! You are not allowed to take notes during the MMI - from what I've gathered, the set up is more conversational this year. Last year, I brought a pad folio with me containing a note pad and a thank you card. Before your interview you will be pulled aside for a file update, which is exactly that so if you have anything to inform them about you can do it there. There should be no need fora CV/PS.

I interviewed here earlier this month. We were not allowed to bring any note or pen into the room. One of the girls in my group carried her folder into the room by accident and was asked to place it outside before the interview process begin. They will also ask you to sign a paper that states you will not leak any specific MMI questions...

It took a few days for me to receive the email after getting the portal update. You can always call to confirm!

When did you interview RedWolverine?

Does anyone know if they take AP credits for prereqs?

I believe that as long as your university accepted those AP credits, then you are good to go. If you did not apply said AP credits towards your degree, then I would call in just to confirm.

Just got an II, I was wondering if anyone knows if UNT has a student hosting program?

Congrats!!! So happy for you! I think we interviewed in El Paso yesterday together 🙂 Were you on the 6 pm flight back to DFW?
