Congrats!! What dates did they give you?II today, complete 8/13
II today! Complete around 8/15. OOS LM 68
This is *technically* my third time applying since my BS/MD app in 2016, so keep your head up King! Drexel will recognize you eventually
Which SMP and what was your uGPA and your SMP GPA?Thanks much for this, I really needed it!
Edit: my third time too since I stupidly applied in my SMP last year before I really made an impact on my GPA
Anyone bring their luggage to their interview?
If it helps, I was accepted with a 67Congrats! I have the same LM and and graduated from Drexel Undergrad, I'm a reapplicant in an SMP but I was put on hold in December and still haven't heard anything 🙁 I have technically been "on hold" since my first application in 2017 since they do silent R's, so I have a sinking feeling my alma mater just doesnt give a **** about me 🙁
Im glad to hear you got an II tho with similar stats, you're giving me hope!!! best of luck on your interview!!
Did you have to let them know in advance about the luggage?I did! You can leave it in their coat closet in the admissions office for the day

That's what I did! They're very conducive and gave me a call to reschedule. If the dates are full, though, that's a different storyAnyone has experience with contacting admissions to request another Interview date? Have not chosen my date yet, but would really be much more convenient to get a date in a specific week this month rather than in March (All current dates in March, and I'll be overseas for the whole of March). Thanks a lot

Yep, then they gave me a call the day after iircAwesome! thanks a lot - did you just email them at first?
@TheDataKing's incredibly lit spreadsheet here. Also at the information session, they dish out about 800 A's for ~1500 interviews, so more than 50% for sure. That's across every single interview month+waitlists as well, so keep that in mindI have an II here on 02/24. What is the post II acceptance rate like here I love Philly

Don't thank me, thank @TheDataKingYou're the bomb-thank you
Any December peeps heard yet?
same, ii dec 2nd, not even a deferral - complete silence
When were you complete?Put on hold today 🙁
August 1stWhen were you complete?
II, complete in July and was on hold
congrats guys! what dates were available?II received on Monday! Complete 10/12, really wasn’t expecting to hear back from them since I applied here so late.
N = 1, but I think Drexel is going really hard on mission fit, and is thus prioritizing invites based heavily on service/population health and less on stats/complete date
Any current students on this thread? I have some questions about Drexel I'd love answered.
I’m happy to answer any questions. I’m a first year.

Don't worry about extra resources the first year. All of the exam questions come from the lecture notes/videos. Personally I like annotating FA, but would recommend doing it after winter break when you really start more of a "systems based learning." Anki is super useful if you make your own cards, ZAnki helps with class and early step prep but you have to comb through and suspend all the cards you don't need or else it can become a nightmare of learning stuff that you won't be tested on until second year.Do you study straight off the slides or supplement with other material, e.g. Anki, BnB, FA?
Also what're some must haves for M1's?

Upperclassmen will have online resources (pdfs, links, etc. etc.) that are floating around and will be passed down by your big.
Essentials (that you need to get):
iPad/Tablet
Apple Pencil for quick note taking (unless you're a paper note taker)
OneNote/Notability app on iPad.
Shoes you don't mind dissecting in.
Scrubs x2 (there will be a sale in the fall if you want them cheap)
Dress clothes
reliable but inexpensive watch (last thing you want is body fluids on a nice watch)
ID holder.
Combination lock
1 standard sized 2 pewter cauldron
1 wand
Essentials (that will probably be provided to you by the school or an upperclassman):
FA
ZAnki
Netter's Anatomy Flashcards
Anatomy Atlas (not really an ESSENTIAL but so many people find it super helpful to have their own copy or pdf)
Stethoscope (if you buy your own, please don't go overboard and buy a super expensive one)
Also quick note about BnB and Firecracker. They're really great in two situations:Do you study straight off the slides or supplement with other material, e.g. Anki, BnB, FA?
Also what're some must haves for M1's?
Oh hey you’re the guy from last year’s thread whose LOI comment convinced me to write one. Big bless, fam thanks!
