Yeah but you're doing really well with the cycle according to your sig. I'm just wasting away in the hopes of a II.
I'm very grateful for it, really! Sorry, didn't mean to indicate that I wasn't. Just can't figure out any rhyme or reason for how this review process timing works!

Is a skype interview disadvantageous to in person? I know it shouldn't be but I'm still worried.

No, everyone has a skype interview and an in-person one so there is no real disadvantage to be noted. Obviously one is behind a computer screen but both felt the same to me.

Oh sorry for the confusion, but is the in-person interview required? I thought it was possible to do the full thing via Skype.

Interviewed in November (in-person)but no decision yet. I never got notice of a Skype interview though...how did the invitation show up for you guys? Was it in the same email as your in-person invite? 😱

I don't think everyone got a Skype interview. I think early on in the cycle it was just two in person interviews.

For my interview day they had half the group enter having already done the skype one and the other half scheduled the day of the in-person interview for sometime later that week.

Might be too early/no trend over the years but does this school typically offer scholarships? I got accepted to my state school and the only thing that could tear me away from her is a healthy dose of change thrown my way.

i received my II 15 days ago but they still have not reached out to set up my interview date yet - has this happened to anyone else? i really don't want to pester the adcoms, but at the same time, i really want to confirm the date so that i can make the appropriate arrangements for travel, work, etc.

I would say give it Time they are a newer school and had an extremely high volume of applications this year. The primary focus for them is getting full accreditation.

Same! I think they're just overwhelmed and will get to us eventually.

Wondering if anyone hasn’t heard back? I was compete early September, LM 66-67, OOS. How long do they send interviews for? I was complete for preliminary review around mid October. (1 month post submission!)
I wish they accepted updates, but this school hasn’t been receptive whatsoever ;(
I was got the prelim review complete email in late October and still nothing! LizzyM of 67-68, OOS. I completed orgo 2 since submitting my app but everyone says no updates! This is basically one of my more realistic MD options so I'm hoping we hear back soon

For anyone that's interviewed here already how was the day? And how stressful were your interviews? I'm assuming they may ask some questions about my stance on community health / social aspects of health given they emphasize that on their website.

The same thing happened to me, but I emailed them after a week like "hey looking forward to setting up the day, lmk" and then I immediately got an email so I would recommend reaching out!

fabulous, i was wondering if anyone had done what you described, i'll reach out to them soon! thanks!

What date did you get?

I got Thursday, 1/30. Also, no one reached out to say my time was changed -- should I assume 10:30?

No problem! The lady was super nice on the phone, so it's definitely not a bother!

Called to schedule an interview date but was told they will call back or email with a specific date. Anyone else try calling?
