Broader range of clinical sites and more diverse patient demographics which are inherent to a larger city. Also, I'm moving to school with my wife, so having more job/school opportunities for her is essential, as well as resources for new families.

But seriously, a little research goes a long way. The differing geographic locations of the campuses alone should give you pages worth of information to talk about.

I live in philly so I can tell you the biggest difference is population - one is urban, primarily low income African American, while the other is semi rural, white, blue collar population. Bethlahem is a nice college town but otherwise not very exciting. The philly campus also has a lot more extra curricular activities like the free clinic, going out to local schools to teach STEM, prevention point, etc...

Am I right to say that you can only do MD/MPH at the Philly campus?

I’m confused because on the secondary it says “Students enrolled in the St. Luke’s regional campus cannot participate in the MD/MPH program”
but then on the next page it says “Students pursuing any of the dual master’s programs have no campus restrictions”

Maybe im missing something, if someone knows the answer to this I would greatly appreciate it

They are currently switching over to making the MPH program an online program which would make it accessible to students at St. Lukes. This hasn't happened yet....I only know this because I am potentially interested in the online MPH program. For the most updated information, call the School of Public Health admissions office. You can even start the online MPH early if its ready and youre taking a gap year! MD credits count for 20 MPH credits I believe.

Here's their number, they are super helpful: 215-204-8726

Does anybody know how CASPer scores are going to be used at Temple in the admissions process this year?

How much were you all able to write in regards to the "Why LKSOM?" question?

I am specifically asking about the number of characters you used

I am prewriting the secondary. Could someone tell me what are the choices of clinical/regional campus? Thanks in advance.

How long did it take to recieve secondaries? I added this school on in late July and have yet to recieve one.

EDIT: Recieved 10 days later

I received mine the day after I was verified in early July! Maybe check your spam folder? If you don't get it in another week or so I would say you should call them, but probably wait around 2 weeks before doing that!

It was discussed earlier in this thread but....its not the best area, exemplified by the proximity of yesterday's shooting incident but, I stand by the notion that as long as you aren't hanging outside on the streets, you should be fine. It's not a much different situation than many other hospitals in larger cities. I do not think that it should be a factor that goes against the school as a whole. Repeating my past sentiments, its no Beverly Hills but as long as you take precautions (being vigilant, just go home after school) you will be more than fine. Even in yesterday's situation, although it was intense, all the staff and faculty and reporters were emphasizing how they had never seen a situation such as yesterday's before. If you have any more specific questions feel free to PM me

Yes, they told me to clear the cache/cookies, restart the browser, and paste my essays into a plain text editor before the site.

It worked after that!
I've tried this several times on 2 computers and a bunch of different browsers. Does anyone else know if there's something else I can do to make it work? Thanks!

edit: it worked! thanks for all the help!

What did y'all write for the " What are your plans for the current year (June 2019-June 2020)? (2000)" question if you're gonna be a full-time student? Lol should I outline what classes I'm taking?

Are you 100% sure you're not over the character limit?

I need an advice. I am thinking of sending a last minute secondary to Temple BUT i haven't taken the Casper test yet, and the next one is Sept 9. This means my secondary wouldn't be complete until late September... is this worth it? lol

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure Casper took less than a month to grade and send mine out, but you have to plan for them taking the full month.

3 a.m. booty call II, but having trouble actually finding where to schedule it lol - - anyone else?

EDIT: After waiting an hour and logging back in, I was able to schedule...I guess it just lags behind when the invite is sent out by a couple of hours. Also, IS, complete 7/10.
