according to MSAR: 70 accepted with 24 seats reserved for Haider
someone correct me if im wrong
I think they accepted 77 last year. Maybe they over accepted by 7 last year because the new traffic rule caused some uncertainty. I also noticed that the CTE date for UCR is really early (May 15th?) compared to other schools, which could mean significant WL movement at the end of May/early June.

What's CTE stand for?

sorry if this a dumb question, but new to MMI. for MMI, they won't have access to our apps, so we wouldn't have questions about abstracts in our apps etc?

depends on the school, some i’ve interviewed at (haven’t interviewed here tho) had one MMI station that went over my applications and the other rooms were scenarios. another school did an MMI first half then in the same station did an application question.

thanks so much!!!

Based on last year's thread, it looks like UCR interview until March 7th. I would estimate there are 6 weeks of interviews remaining for this cycle. They do bi-weekly interviews so i would say there are only 3 or 4 interview sessions left. Good luck to all.

Have they sent out pre-ii rejects?

What time does the interview end around? I have group A interview, which starts at 8am.

Overall what did you guys think about the interview day? (welcoming, positive, etc)
around how many people are in each sessions?

It was a very enjoyable interview day! Really informative, the student ambassadors make you feel welcome and are a great source to get answers from. Can’t speak about the interviews themselves for obvious reasons, but just be prepared to think and talk and you’ll be good! There are two sessions each interview day with about 12 students each. Hope this helps!

Anyone else just get an invite to the UCR SOM dinner? I’m still waiting for a decision post-interview and just got this...

Do you know the significance of this dinner? I’ve also been waiting for a response and received the invite

I got an invite and have not been accepted (interviewed) or a Haider applicant. Maybe I’m a unicorn lol

I interviewed in October and I am in Haider program. Can you PM the Dinner invitation to me, please.

Anyone else get an invitation to celebrate black history month with UCRSOM? Getting pretty confused right around now... I am also waiting to hear back post interview.
i got this too.🤔 didn’t think much of it but they need to stop playing with my heart lmao

They are kicking us while we are down lol. I talked with an MS1 at UCR. He said that was emailed out to pretty much everyone... don't think it is anything that can help a candidacy to attend.

is ucr traditional curriculum or flipped classroom?
