Absolutely shoot your shot. It’s late October, which means there’s like 4 months of interviews to go

I remember during my interview they said only a small amount will get accepted in the 4-8 week post interview window. Others will be told about their decisions later in the cycle after they interview more applicants.

don't feel bad they also run a silent waitlist post-II. So if you don't hear anything in a few weeks you are to assume you're on the waitlist.

i interviewed on saturday and they said we should hear back between 2-3 weeks and if we don’t we should assume we’re on the waitlist

yeah i believe i heard them say they’ve sent verrrryy few acceptances so far. they’re being very picky early in the interview season due to their small class size (70 *sigh*)

Sounds like they haven’t set up storage for the files that are uploaded via the portal.

On a less technical note, we were told that updates are accepted via email at the interview day.

Got the Acceptance call this afternoon. Interviewed on November 2nd. I am so happy that I have the option of staying near family and not having to move to a state that gets seriously cold in the winter. Thank you for this UCR. Good luck everyone. You all deserve to get in.
