2019-2020 UNC - Chapel Hill

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but if/when (for everyone waiting!) accepted, how should we send our official transcripts?

I sent mine electronically through my undergrads transcript office. UNC has the address posted on their website of who to send it too. The acceptance email also has information on this.

It gives you very specific details about how and where to send it in an email after you are accepted.

I typically go to the National Students Clearinghouse website to send them.

Mine still says it hasn't been received, and I sent it back in November. Does anyone else have their's marked as received?

Question, does the committee still meet every other week? Kinda lost track at this point lol
based on when people are reporting acceptances it seems like maybe theyre either meeting more frequently now, or the decisions are just getting sent out spread out

anyone have an estimate for how many acceptances UNC already gave out andhow many theyre gonna?

Dear UNC

I understand you may be hesitant to accept my love due to my sub-par MCAT score... I think this shows that we are perfect for each other.

xoxo,
Your Hopeful Valentine
I just need an update plzzzzzzz

Has anyone who interviewed in January heard anything yet/ know when could we expect to hear?
Hey! I interviewed on January 13th, and I still haven't heard anything. I heard some people hear back after about a month, but most people have heard back a couple of months later. I'm hoping that since it's later in the season that we'll hear back soon! Good luck!

Interviewed on the 13th as well, nothing yet. If I remember correctly we'll get some kind of update on March 15th atleast right?

It says on the "Admissions Process Timeline" from the interview folder that on March 15th they will complete a class roster and begin to consider candidates for the wait list. It says by the first week of April, everyone should know if they have been waitlisted, accepted, or rejected. Best of luck to everyone!!

I would have loved to have heard something this week from any school so I can cancel my interview next week but oh well

if i get accepted im quitting my job within the hour. but i need the money so please dont accept me

Cool thanks. I interviewed on 1/13 as well so today would be 1 full month. Good luck in the coming weeks guys!

If we interviewed earlier in the season and still haven’t heard anything are we basically just holding out for the waitlist? Or is there still a decent chance we could be accepted?

I have a hunch that for the next wave, brody and UNC are waiting to see what kind of movement occurs after Duke sends out acceptances. I.e. someone accepted at Duke might clear up a spot at UNC which might clear up a spot at brody

I feel like the acceptances have been all over the place so far, so I wouldn't rule out an acceptance at this point even if you interviewed early on. Granted, I interviewed in early October so I'm more than a little biased.

I interviewed back in the early fall and was accepted in the past couple of weeks. I think the time from interview to acceptance was about 4-5 months for me so there is still hope!
