Pre-II R today. Didn't receive an email, but saw it on the online portal
People at mine were dressed nicer casual. Suit not necessary, but I wouldn’t wear a hoodie.Does anyone know what the dress code for the student panel is?
So this confused me because most current seniors will not receive their fall transcript until mid-December.Will BU make a decision before receiving your transcript at the end of the fall semester? Or do they wait to see your transcript before giving you the admission decision? Asking for a friend...
Yup, you sign up under the tab for the student panel and Dean Goodell's talk at dates/times that work for you.For anyone who has already interviewed, all we have on our actual interview day is the interview itself at the time they send to us, right? Thanks in advance!
Late-December or early-January they saidDoes anyone know when the first round of decisions will go out?
I had an ethical dilemmaFor those who interviewed, I heard it was largely conversational for many. I was just curious if you got asked ethical questions/ethical scenarios?
Thanks!

(Sorry for the double post!) According to last year’s thread they said December or early January and decisions came out the second and third week of December. Of course, the timeline might have shifted this year.Does anyone know when the first round of decisions will go out?
I think the dean during the tour said that they plan on sending the decisions out before winter break (12/18) begins.(Sorry for the double post!) I’m hoping we hear back. I feel like they wouldn’t have said so in the email if they didn’t intend on considering late November interviewees in round 1.For those who interviewed in late Nov or early December, are you expecting to hear back before December ends with at least preliminary decisions? At first it seemed like we would have to wait until the second round but the post interview email kind of seems otherwise?
It gets exponentially worse as you get closer to the decision doesn't it lolI love you, BU, but this post-II wait is absolute torture.
I was hoping for some calls this week since they started Wed last year, but maybe not :\I'm actually suffering. Please let this end. Do we think next week?
During the meeting with Dr. Goodell, she said decisions will go out in about a week for applicants who interviewed as late as “early November.” They already had the meeting and made decisions.I was hoping for some calls this week since they started Wed last year, but maybe not :\
Did she say anything about mid or late November interviewees? The email made it sound like we were also being considered for round 1.During the meeting with Dr. Goodell, she said decisions will go out in about a week for applicants who interviewed as late as “early November.” They already had the meeting and made decisions.

No, she didn’t. She only said “early November.” She did not provide a cutoff dateDid she say anything about mid or late November interviewees? The email made it sound like we were also being considered for round 1.
Today+1
when was this meeting?
Haha I’m sorry! Just reporting what was shared this morning. I’m sure there are details not available to us that may explain the delay.Gotta say, knowing that they’ve already made the decision makes this 100x worse
Edit: no shade to you feathery1, appreciate the info, it just sucks to know they could tell us but haven’t
Based on the meeting, and the fact that the post II email asked for an update letter by mid-November, I feel like it’s unlikely that late November interviewees will hear back in December. No, she didn’t. She only said “early November.” She did not provide a cutoff date
Hello. I am requesting somebody to strike me hard enough to render me unconscious. When the decisions come out, please wake me up if accepted, leave me be if anything else.
Dang you really just called my dude a dementor
Maybe the committee for sure had enough time to discuss those who interviewed up to early November, and they have a lil leftover time to start but not finish discussing people who interviewed later, which is why that email sounds like everyone who has interviewed at a chance at hearing back.Based on the meeting, and the fact that the post II email asked for an update letter by mid-November, I feel like it’s unlikely that late November interviewees will hear back in December.
Does administering the Kiss of Death count as clinical experience?Dang you really just called my dude a dementor
According to LizzyM if you can smell em it counts 😉Does administering the Kiss of Death count as clinical experience?
So I guess this confirms what @alohafromKR said. Dec 18 can't come soon enough haha. Although I'm bracing for a hold at best given that I didn't have the strongest interview.Hi! Not sure if anyone has said this yet but MSAR says that the earliest acceptance date for BU is December 18, 2020 (so we know it's been updated) so no need to frantically check our emails until then🙂
Did they call or email?? Congrats!!!JUST ACCEPTED!!!! MY FIRST!!! Literal tears of joy. So much blood sweat and tears put into this process finally rewarded
