They're a very mission-driven school so I think that's probably their first priority. From First Friday talks they like high stats but are very forgiving of low stats if someone fits their mission.

There have been some 515+ already accepted. They said there is no method to their madness so thereā€™s that!
 
quick question, does everyone who submits an application get the email about application being reviewed and if you have any pre-reqs not completed yet, send it to them?

Has the school started rejecting pre-II or is it more of a ā€œdo it at the endā€ sort of institution?

I would love the opportunity to interview here, but I havenā€™t heard anything for awhile now.
 
for anyone who submitted an update letter via main admin email - did you receive confirmation that they got your letter? i sent my letter 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet
 
Hi! I am interviewing here on Tuesday but didn't receive the zoom link yet. Anybody in the same boat? In their confirmation email they said I will receive it the week of the interview but I know that tomorrow is a federal holiday and they will be closed!

I got a response about it being added to my app a few hours after my email was sent.

Hi! I haven't received a link either, and I am also interviewing on Tuesday. Perhaps they'll send it sometime this evening!
 
When were you guys complete?
we are reaching the end of January and Iā€™m getting anxious

If it was two weeks ago, there may have been a slight delay due to the holidays. I called and spoke to Ms. Hicks and she added it to my file over the phone and sent me a confirmation email shortly after.

ah i sent an update letter on January 8th and then sent a follow up email today and still nothing - i guess i should call tomorrow right? I'm worried today would be extra since i followed up via email

Donā€™t follow up right now. My own school (Iā€™m taking classes through a medical school right now) is entirely TOO FAR BEHIND. Itā€™s so bad that the registrarā€™s phone is busy. They will get to it. I sent a follow up to Howard too but now I feel crappy after seeing how behind my school is.

So I actually called right at 9am when their office opens to admissions calls. I sent my email last week but saw on this thread that oftentimes, our emails go to spam. When I called, I figured that's what happened because it took her quite a long time to find my email. Shortly after, I received an email that they received my letter and it has been added to my file. So I would definitely say call early tomorrow

I sent a letter of interest 2 days ago. When is the appropriate time to call them and ask if they got it?

Might as well do it tomorrow or sometime this week. The faster they update your file, the faster they may do another review of your app and send an II
 
I called yesterday and they said they would send a confirmation email yesterday but they didnā€™t. Should I call again today ?

I called the admissions phone number, linked here. It was my third day in a row calling; got put through and sorted everything out within minutes! Sounds like they are really doing their best to field everyone's requests, gotta love it.

Yeah when my spoke to them, she said there was a backlog so I think they really are behind/struggling.
