Hi!! I got an II (I think), I just got a tab on my portal, but no email and I cant select an interview date. Like i signed the agreement and uploaded a picture but am not able to see nor select interviews dates on the calendar. Did anyone else have this issue? Also for those that have an II from them, did they email you?

Tab says 'Interview', and then when i click it, it says congratulations etc, I was completed 8/1

They definitely do not check to see if you’re there or not. I’d recommend going though since I learned a lot of good info from the students.

I'd say it was a fairly conversational MMI format. I just googled practice MMIs and went over hypothetical scenarios.

Fairly low stress, and the group activity was fun! Some of the MMI questions were worded strangely so don’t be afraid to ask for clarification as needed. The interviewers are very nice and helpful.

I remember that at least one of the MMIs was super weird (and honestly most MMI Qs did not feel like what you would expect an MMI Q to be). But I cannot tell you details because I signed a form. However, I can say to NOT worry AT ALL for the group activity because it was super duper fun.

They do! You can upload them to the portal under Document Upload.

They said that they don't necessarily want thank you emails but you can use the portal to update them.

Don't know whether it was mandatory or not, but it was really helpful!! Students were very open and had very useful information

The students were dressed in regular clothes, but most if not all interviewees were business casual. But I don't know if there was a strict dress code

It was an interview day today. It sounds like they have 2-3 of these per month. I got the II last week, which felt like super short notice, but the experience alone was worth it. Don't give up! I'm sure that as people start withdrawing applications after receiving A's, more interview invites will go out throughout the cycle. Also, we were told that there will be no rolling admissions this cycle-- the decision will likely be sent out in early March.

Yea, Downstate is February apparently. I thought NYU LI was March but I don't remember

That is also what I remember. They said they will interview everyone that they want and then announce in March.

Now that I'm reading that majority of notifications are posted via portal, not email, I am concerned. Am I understanding this correctly? I'm assuming I should get a rejection if NYU LI isn't interested, but idk

Also, do you all think/know if there will be more interviews in January considering decisions being finalized in Feb?

They said their admission this year is not rolling so till Feb there will be interviews I think. (But this makes their post-II acceptance less than 3-5% lol)
