someone on this thread said that during their interview they mentioned people hearing back in MarchSo anyone know when acceptances will be sent? I interviewed a while back here (October) and remembered they said hopefully by February.
Thank you notes are not recommended by admissions. For those who interviewed, did you send a thank-you note after?
Was recently told mid-March.someone on this thread said that during their interview they mentioned people hearing back in March
During my interview they said they welcome update letters, and they should be uploaded to the portal. Not sure about letters of intent.Did anyone send letters of interest/intent? I don’t remember what their guidance was about those
It was intimidating to read that. The way my stomach dropped after reading that email... why would they interview over 500 applicants for 24 spots?!
YesAre they done interviewing? 😢
they also specifically ask you not to haha. For those who interviewed, did you send a thank-you note after?
The turnover rate is insane. You wouldn't believe how many students will decline their acceptance. They also like to have their pick too haha. The way my stomach dropped after reading that email... why would they interview over 500 applicants for 24 spots?!
High doubtThe turnover rate is insane. You wouldn't believe how many students will decline their acceptance. They also like to have their pick too haha.
Looks like it! In years past they sent out a few acceptances earlier in the cycle but this year they are waiting to send out all decisions until mid MarchJust to clarify, no one has received an acceptance yet, right? They just wanted to tell us that they are done interviewing?
+1 :|am i the only one who didnt get any acknowledgement or email since secondary completion? UGH
+1+1 :|
I assumed their yield would be pretty high because of the free tuition, but maybe I’m wrongThe turnover rate is insane. You wouldn't believe how many students will decline their acceptance. They also like to have their pick too haha.
They make it pretty difficult to do and you lose your guaranteed residency position, but you can do it. As for losing your guaranteed residency, I think this is only due to the fact that they offer an exact # of spots for each residency, so they can't guarantee a spot will be open in the residency you change to. However, if you find someone else that wants to "switch" with you or someone in your desired specialty decides to do their residency elsewhere, I assume the school would have no problem giving you priority.has anyone changed their mind through the program and not done one of the 4 residencies offered?

No you do, but the school wants you to do their residency so the entire curriculum is set up around that.Oh so you don't even get a chance to go through ERAS and apply to other residencies?
Got it, thanks! No you do, but the school wants you to do their residency so the entire curriculum is set up around that.
You think? I thought it’d be more like next week. Who knowsWe all thinking decisions gonna come out this week??
Ooo the plot thickensIt has to be sent out by March 15 because of AAMC rules.
