nerves are settling in.. still no interview invites this cycle but it may be due to my application being complete late due to some hiccups with my undergrad releasing my letters of rec
what are my chances? cgpa 3.4 sgpa 3.2 , mcat 513

Can anyone that has already had their interview tell me what the day was like? Thanks

thank you! congrats to you as well! I just logged in by clicking on the portal link in the email and there was a tab called "interview" on the top of the screen and from there I could pick a date from the calendar (the first dates i had available were in october)

oh also it gave a 24hr deadline from the time of the email, did you log in within 24hrs?

awesome thanks for the reply! yeah there's nothing on my portal :/ I just sent them an email though. But I'm glad they have dates in October!

First off, congratulations! Rowan is very selective with who they give interviews to. Post II acceptance rate is like 65%.

Interviews for the most part are very laidback and they just want to get to know you, very low stress! They are also open file but still come prepared to answer certain questions: Why Rowan, why DO, why do you want to be a Doctor, etc.
 
they are going by secondary submission date...and it seems like they are still around june 20th week.

thank you so much for your response! Is it usually 1 adcom and 1 med student? or 1 after the other?

I submitted my secondary on 6/26, which was a Saturday lol. This gives me hope (although I'm a low GPA, high MCAT (for DO anyway) OOS applicant so I really just applied here in an "I love this school I'll shoot my shot" way.
 
does anyone know if they are going to send interview invites even without mcat scores on file since people had to push back their exams due to covid?
