I got a journal today after interview in Sept. but it says "thanks for interviewing with us" so I guess it was sent to everyone who interviewed? I was really hoping it was an acceptance even I didnt know about, but it was not of course.. it is nice of them to send us journals though. Hope that the school will give us decisions soon.

I think they said around 4-5 weeks, so hopefully around the first week of January, if not sooner

For those placed on alternative list, when you complete the form does it show as checked off on your homepage? I completed it and keep checking to confirm but it still shows as a task to do!

The check didn't change but on the portal, it states it may take 1-2 days for a status update to be reflected in the portal.

I think that they reject a lot of people right away and then decide A or Alternate

I also was placed on the alternate list, it seems in the past few years most of the movement occurred in the the middle of March and April. Hopefully there is strong movement for us waitlistees.

lots of people come off the alternate list for sure. most movement starts around march/April and continues up until the day of classes
