I know this is a joke but AFAIK everyone is remote today...not going back to being fully in person for students and staff until Monday lol
Pitt went back to in-person classes this Wednesday, pretty sure not everyone is remote, and i don't think remote working would delay decision releases if they intended to release them today from the start

Correct, remote working should not impact decision release.

is it likely that those who've received PSTP interview invites already have the A for the MD application?

was wondering the same thing... i thought to be invited to interview for the PSTP, we had to have a A/WL. i would think the fact that you were invited to interview is a good sign. but maybe that's just what i'm manifesting for myself haha

They're totally independent, but a PSTP A is an almost guarantee off of the MD waitlist.
curious to know how separate the two admissions offices are. there's definitely gotta be some sort of communication between the two groups of adcoms pre decision release but i have no idea the extent

From what I remember through the info sessions they have no idea what your initial post-II status is. I think this is because most interviewees end up WL at worst, and a PSTP acceptance is as good a bargaining chip as any to get someone off the WL

I really hope this is true because I got a pre-II PSTP R on the same day my application was complete. I was thinking that quick of an R could have been because they saw I was going to be regular MD R or low waitlist...

Hey everyone, the anxiety seems to be rising on this thread because decisions are closer.
Try to support each other through the worry and not turn the tension on each other, you'll feel better about it!

Good luck whenever they notify you :luck::xf:

WL. Pain. Kinda expected it though cause I didn't vibe at all with the interviewers.

WL as well (as expected, but still... ugh). Good luck everyone deciding or waiting some more
