Hi everyne,

to the people that were waitlisted, how do you think the interview went? do you guys have an idea of whether it had a negative effect on ur app? Thanks and I really hope y'all can move out of the waitlist to an A
I thought that my faculty interview went quite poorly since I just couldn't connect with my interviewer. My student interview went extremely well though. But put together it probably wasn't enough.

TBH, I thought both my interviews went very well. The faculty interviewer even said I did excellent and that he would put in a great report. As well all know, the interview isn't everything I guess.

III just now! IS and complete 9/2. Other info in signature 🙂
Congrats! I also got an II last week. What is the earliest interview date that you're able to schedule an interview?

Do you think it had to do with stats, casper or IS/OOS status?

Was the interview information session a camera on and formal session or did some people have their cameras off?

Everyone in my session had cameras on, but it was pretty chill overall. Just a brief chat with some med students at the beginning and then back-to-back information sessions for the remainder of the time.

Did you end up calling?
Sorry for the hold up, they directed me to email when I called but this is the information I got for us waitlist peeps:

1) the waitlist is rolling till the class is full, could be before May
2) You cannot know your rank and there isn't a high priority waitlist
3) Applications are re-reviewed when movement is available, therefore update letters and letter of intent will be considered.

Take from this what you will. ~Manifesting~ movement for you all

What was the itinerary for the interview day? What time did it start/end? TIA

Hey! I got an email with individual interview times for each interview. It wasn't like a traditional interview "day", where you have an info session, a block of interviews, and a panel or whatnot. I had one 30 minute interview at 8 AM and then one three hours later. The info sessions and the med student panels were separate from the interview sessions. Hope this helps!

Great to hear! Thank you for calling. At least that's somewhat reassuring that there is no HPWL at the moment.

The only interview spots open were in February, however, the admissions coordinator called and said there were two spots open in November. I guess some people declined their interview spots, but I don't know.
Super stoked to have been offered an interview here but it's all the way in March.

Did you request to be placed on a special interview cancellation list? Or did the admissions coordinator just randomly call and offer you an earlier interview date?

Does anyone know the proper etiquette regarding requesting an earlier interview date?

The admissions coordinator called me just before she sent the interview invite email to inform me of the open interview slots in November. I would not call and request it.
