I live in DTLA and have a Fast trak. I get to and from school in about 15-20 minutes. Cannot speak for ppl who actually sit in traffic. The fast trak is a worthwhile investment.
CDU has so many things geared towards student wellness! I’ve never received more scholarships, free groceries, gift cards, etc at any institution (I’m a community college transfer student)
COL is highhhhhh!!! I pay $1700 and that’s half of my rent. Granted, I live in a luxury apartment, but I’d say expect to pay about $1500 for rent alone…and that would be a good deal.

If anyone has any other questions about the school (from the undergrad perspective, obviously) or living in LA, I’d be glad to help!

Hi, I had an interview today! I'm really hoping to get accepted, and I've been trying to find housing options that are affordable in LA. I would definitely appreciate any tips or apartment recommendations.

the exit video said we should get a survey, but I haven't got it and I interviewed on Sat.

I completed the survey after the interview and got that email. But I didn’t get it right away. I got it 5 days after my interview

That’s interesting. Maybe they are so busy they stopped sending them out. In the email they provided an email address to contact if I had any questions regarding the program. I sent them an email a month ago with a list of questions but they haven’t replied. So they could just be overwhelmed
 
This took me way too long to remember, but if trying to sign the confidentiality agreement, click the "..." in the top right, try to "print" the agreement, and set the destination as "Save as PDF". Then you can sign it as normal.
 
What was the exit survey? I don’t think I completed it. The only thing I remember doing was rating the video quality.

Never mind. Just realized it was emailed to people, so no I never received the survey email.***

Yeah, it seems this is most likely the case. I would not pay much attention to it.

My best recommendation would be to find a roommate. Koreatown, Long Beach, and more inland areas have can have better deals and you might be able to find something on Facebook where someone is looking for a person to take over their lease. Unless you’re from NYC, Miami, or another major destination, the rent here is gonna blow your mind, so try and be resourceful. And try to avoid living near the campus, I cannot stress this enough. Look up Nickerson gardens, it’s very close 🙂

Hey! You may be able to go ahead and register to see what the platform is like.

Complete the registration and then sit on the last-page of registration until start time. Theres a count down and you will automatically be connected to your first interviewer. A timer will be counting down your 20 minutes and once its up, you will be automatically cut off from your interviewer. You need to go to the second email and repeat the same steps for your second interview. (I think theres a better detailed response in the thread^^)

From the thread it seems like most everyone had a positive experience. Someone mentioned they attended a prep event and found it useful. I reviewed a few questions and also practiced with my friends. I always think its good to get someone else’s perspective on your presentation so you can see if you answer + your tone are both presentable. Anyways, you will do great. Good luck!!
 
How do you schedule an interview? I received an email for an II but there weren’t any links or portals to schedule my interview.

The Assistant Director emailed me separately and gave me a bunch of dates/times to choose from, and you select 3 options that work for you. Then she'll confirm a date and send you the Kira Talent link where the interview will be conducted

You should call her to confirm—this happened to me and my response ended up getting filed in her spam folder

I haven’t gotten a response back but I thought it may be because it’s the weekend. I’ll give them a call come monday.

I emailed her back asking for a confirmation and she responded! Just shoot her an email and she'll respond pretty promptly. I think replying in the thread she sent would be good.

Do you get a complete email after you submit secondary? I submitted over 2 weeks ago and no email
