2022-2023 Tulane

Have they gotten back to you with a decision yet?
Acceptances cannot be given out until Oct 15th as part of AAMC's traffic rules. Rejections can go out before then.

Edited to add: and this year, Oct 15 is a Saturday, so nobody can get accepted to any MD school (unless ED) until Oct 17

some schools have automated emails they send on weekends, so it can go out Saturday for some schools! I know Tulane sent out under review emails on weekends, so A's can also go out on Oct 15!

Interview went good imo! They had a us sign a NDA, so I can't talk about specifics, but the vibe of the whole Interview was chill. Practicing helped, so be sure to practice. I had one mock interview and brainstormed some answers to practice interview questions while working.
Good luck to everyone else, hopefully good news in October. The school looks amazing and like it's a good fit for me.

I think it was a gonnif post about this, but technically they aren't supposed to do that.

Not trying to be pedantic, just don't want people to get their hopes up for a Saturday call!

Has anyone complete in August heard back yet (II, hold, R, etc.)?

Does anyone know how long it takes them to get back to you after the application is under review? I was under review mid-Aug and it's almost a month but nothing yet, no R, Hold or II

Same here. I guess it’s better than a rejection?

Seems like applicants under review get a decision about a month after review status.
Yeah I was hopeful I'd hear from them a little sooner since I went from complete to under review super quickly but alas, still silence after three weeks. I'm trying not to get to anxious about it until it reaches the one month mark but it's hard lol

They finally placed me on hold . Under review since 7/20/22

I wonder if they’re going to send out more interviews next week...seems like they skipped this week? At least based on the responses here...

sure- complete 7/15, under review 8/9. unfortunately not sure what days are left, i got a date in october tho!
LM 72, WARS 80 🙂

Oh wow! I thought they were already scheduling December...maybe it’s different for MD/PhD...🤔

Under review 8/7, hold for interview. Are holds at Tulane usually a soft R?
