Darn, wish I had known that was going to happen before I applied... I added them later, so I was complete on 8/4. I was hoping for an II since I have good mission fit, but it looks like no one complete in August has gotten a II yet and now there might not be any left for us

I’m sure they will leave interview slots for later applicants. Otherwise they will for sure be missing out

Everything, with time. We all cannot get into a single school and that is why you should apply to many. You never know how the cycle will turn out, and yes it sucks not hearing anything as we see all these II coming in. Just take one day at a time and begin to freak out if you have nothing by early 2024. Best of luck.

To be honest I was scouring my emails, looking at their website and the application portal, and I can’t find it. Idk why I vividly remember telling my parents and friend that I read pitt is only going to interview 750 people but maybe I’m hallucinating or getting things mixed up. I saw on their website they interviewed like 1000 people in the previous cycle so I may be wrong. Sorry if I caused any confusion!

They don't screen. Everyone who submits an AMCAS app to them should get a secondary. This document released by AAMC has the list of all the secondary application policies (if there's a screen, what it is, etc.) for AMCAS schools.

I got my interview invite back in July but I haven't yet applied to PSTP - was too busy finishing secondaries and also wasn't sure if I should wait for the info sessions (which I believe start mid-Sept). Is anyone else waiting or should I just go ahead and apply now? Was sortof hoping to go to a session and ask a couple questions so I can tailor my app, but I know they're reviewed on a rolling basis so don't want to make a mistake. Thanks so much for your insight.

i’m waiting until the info session. i think they recommend submitting no later than 1 month after your actual interview, so you are okay

I feel like Pitt is almost out of interview dates at this point. When I scheduled the only option was mid-late November or December and they said interviews go until January 12th on their website

I forget if it's on their portal or on their website it says that they can add more slots if needed

I do not think so it is too early the cycle is just starting now. From their website "The interview season begins August 28, 2023 and concludes January 12, 2024. Interviews are conducted remotely and are offered on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday."

There is no way they already finished sending interview invites if they just started interviewing this week. I am sure they keep space for qualified applicants who apply later. I would not worry until January personally!

Got an II from Pitt today- my first of the cycle. I’m in state, LM is 72.3, and my app was complete on 8/18. They also sent the app for the PSTP which will be a separate application process.
