IS II today, only date was end of March
Congratulations! Do you mind sharing stats?IS II today, only date was end of March
Seems like another applicant just got a II so probably not too late. IIRC I read online they plan to interview through mid march. Is it too late for me to receive an interview invite? I'm assuming I'd get considered for waitlist at this point if I did, but just wanted to ask?
In general they’ve said mid February and to expect results around Valentine’s Day, for interviews after early-mid Jan it may be later in spring (may)When can we expect A results this month?

I did!Did anyone else have a shorter interview? Mine was only about 25-30 minutes
Why are we freaking outtttIs anyone else freaking out? Im freaking out, are you freaking out. AGGHHH
Yup SDN is my new form of social media right now 🤣Absolutely freaking out and refreshing this page every 10 mins 😭
facts someone take one for the team pleaseAnyone feel like calling admissions and checking if they still plan to release today lol
right… did the admissions office ever actually say Feb 14 to anyone?I looked quickly last year and it seems that a lot of As came in on Feb 15th (tomorrow), and the email told applicants to check their portal for their status lol
I remember during my info session, they said "around Valentine's day." So I would wait it out until the end of this week to see if any decisions will be releasedright… did the admissions office ever actually say Feb 14 to anyone?
Lmaooo no shade but how do they consistently get delayed every year 😭 it’s the same process and they set all the dates 😭i called yesterday and was told that they're behind in sending out decisions. he wouldn't give me a set date so it seems a big wave is not happening just yet. i think we should avoid getting our hopes up for any specific day.
it's so silly that they play this kind of guessing game with decisions because no other school does thisLast year, seems like people got the email to check their portal in the morning on Feb 15 (Wed) or in the afternoon on Feb 17 (Friday). And then the next big decision wave wasn't until the second week of March...
Even Oct/Nov interviewees were hearing back in March so it really seems like a guessing game of when you'll find out lol
I received same email - sent letter of interest as well. Have not heard anything yet :/Has anyone who received the email of interest received an II yet? I sent an update letter but it's still been relatively silent...
How are they behind when they randomly sent out acceptances a few weeks ago…I’m so perplexed.i called yesterday and was told that they're behind in sending out decisions. he wouldn't give me a set date so it seems a big wave is not happening just yet. i think we should avoid getting our hopes up for any specific day.
In the information session I attended, I believe they told us that they would start with accepting the Early Decision folks in the fall. How are they behind when they randomly sent out acceptances a few weeks ago…I’m so perplexed.
This is phenomenal insight thank you! Hoping that we are able to hear back sometime soon!In the information session I attended, I believe they told us that they would start with accepting the Early Decision folks in the fall.
Next, they'd start accepting 1) the Brooklyn College BA/MD students, 2) the post-baccalaureate linkage program students from Columbia University, New York University, Temple and Bryn Mawr College, and 3) the AMSNY post-baccalaureate program students at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Around the same time, they'd send a conditional-acceptance to certain folks telling them that they are being referred to do the 1-year AMSNY post-bacc and could matriculate in the following year's class if they accept the offer and do well in the program.
Then, finally, they'd move on to the ordinary regular decision acceptances and send those out (supposed to be "Early February") before starting the alternate list in "Mid April".
I'm not sure why they're delayed, but given that rough timeline, it's possible that they're still holding back their first big wave of regular-decision acceptances, meaning the acceptances they sent out a few weeks ago were mostly the folks in the linkage programs with a couple of their most highly ranked regular-admissions candidates. Just my speculation.
The AMSNY Post-Baccalaureate Program website says:Does anyone know of any programs for Downstate that allow matriculation with a 500ish mcat score for people with underprivileged backgrounds? I remember hearing about it asking for a friend
Congrats!!! Did you upload a letter of interest or anything like that prior to the II?IS II! So excited!

It would not be a complete shock but I’m not getting my hopes up tbh. Seems like they were pretty late last year.Anyone think As will come out today?
The night is still youngreally thought they were gonna release decisions this week 🙁
Nope. Very very casual. You can dress business casual but not many people did on mine. Just don’t look inappropriate and you’ll be fineWhat’s the vibe for the tour? Do I need to wear a more formal interview type outfit?
